This is one of the most revered and famous hym of Durga Mata(mother) Stotram(sacred hym) the lyrics of this hym fires your heart up and makes you feel like you can conquer anything in life!! It gives a boost of ferocious emotion that shreds every negative thought from your mind and revives your strong ambitions that you once had!! 'Aigiri Nandini' is addressed to Goddess Mahishasur Mardini(slayer of demon Mahishasur)!! She is the fierce form of Goddess Durga where she is depicted with 10 arms, riding on a lion and carrying celestial weapons!!😁🙏

@@vikasjadhav3299 No There are not 33 crore gods But we have ONLY one got manifested in 33 forms - Here koti means type of god not the number. Plz read this post took from online.Thank u 33 Vedic Gods In the Vedas, there is a mention of 33 Deities/Devas. These Gods are separated in the following pattern : 12 + 11 + 8 + 2. 12 is the number of Adityas, 11 are the number of Rudras, 8 is the number of Vasus, one is Prajapati, the Master of Gods, and one is a Supreme Ruler who is very powerful. 12 Adityas (personified deities) correspond to the 12 Solar months and represent different attributes of social life. The ancients especially venerated the Adityas and Vedas are full of hymns dedicated to Indra, Agni, Surya, Varun and the like. These are: Indra/Shakra (eldest and the undoubted leader of other Adityas) Ansh (due share), Aryaman (nobility), Bhaag (due inheritance), Dhatri (ritual skill), Tvashtar (skill in crafting), Mitra (friendship), Pushan/Ravi (prosperity), Savitra/Parjanya (power of word), Surya/Vivasvan (social law), Varun (fate), Vaman (cosmic law). 8 Vasus are attendant deities of Indra and comprise of eight elemental gods that represent the different aspects of Nature. They are: Anil (Wind), Apas (Water), Antariksh/Dyaus (Space), Dhara (Earth), Dhruv (Pole Star), Anal (Fire), Prabhas (Dawn), Soma (Moon). 11 Rudras: 5 abstractions - Ānanda (bliss), Vijñāna (knowledge), Manas (thought), Prāṇa (breath/ life), Vāc (speech),5 names of Shiva - Isana (ruler), Tatpuruṣa (that person), Aghora (not terrible), Vāmadeva (pleasant god), Sadyojāta (born at once)1 - Aatman (spiritual self) In the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad, the 11 Rudras are represented by ten vital energies (rudra-prana) in the body and the eleventh one being the Aatman. 33 or 33 million Gods? There is a prevalent myth that Hindus have 33 million Gods and Goddesses. ’33 Crore Gods’ is a completely misinterpreted fact due to wrong translation of Vedas by certain foreign ‘scholars’. The term ‘trayastrimsati koti’ mentioned in Atharva Veda, Yajur Veda, and Satapatha-brahmana, is rightly translated as 33 Gods. The term koti in Sanskrit has two meaning, one is ‘type’ and the other is crore. So, somewhere in translation, they missed the basic fact that Sanatana Dharma/Hinduism has 33 Supreme Gods and not 33 Crore Gods. But because: 1). the 33 names are listed, and 2). 33 Gods’ figure is repeated in various other scriptures like the Ramayana, Mahabharata (Bhagwad Gita) as well; hence there is no room for confusion. Nevertheless, it is true that the Vedic Sanskrit is different from the normal spoken Sanskrit, hence the major (both intentional & unintentional) mistakes happen in interpreting the Vedas. It is sad that even basic words are wrongly translated by some western ‘scholars’ and we Indians have no interest in our own scriptures. We respect the western scholars even more than our Vedic scholars. ---------------- By Swati Sharma (a Post Graduate in English Literature from University of Delhi and holds a PG Diploma in Advertising & Public Relations from IIMC, New Delhi)

@HIT MAN I have many Muslim friends. We participate in their festivals and other religious things and they participate in ours. Many times we visited Kedarnath, Vaishno Devi, etc. together. Yes, there is one thing because of some of the Muslim leaders they can't do that openly. This also happens in Hinduism. If any Hindu leader participates in Muslim religious activity we start to criticize him. In the end, we all are Indians and India is progressing. So, we have to use good things and relinquish the bad things.

In 9:00 it is Shiva Tandava Stotram, dedicated to Lord Shiva. And this is Mahisashur Mardini Stotram on Goddess Durga killing Demons. This are all Mantras. Mantras are chanted to achieve desired results. And also to Pray Goddess. Mantras are very Mathematical also. But to understand you need to dive deep. Spell in wrong ways by the singer/chanter/speaker creates negative vibration, whereas mantras chanted correctly, will give you enormous positivity. Even have powers to save you from Death. Mahamrityunjay Mantra Dedicated to Lord Shiva is believed to be a saviour from untimely death like accidents, suicides etc. Thank You.

Jaya Jaya hey Mahishasuramardini ramya kapardini shailasute means "Glory to the, O beautiful daughter of the Mountain with matted locks who art the slayer of Mahisha the demon " . Many think that Adi Shankaracharya created it but actually it was written by a certain Ramakrishna kavi of Andhra Pradesh

It's not a song, it's a old sanskrit hym dedicated to mother goddess when she smashed the demon Mahishaasura ( the Buffalo demon)
@heem.2353
@heem.2353 Жыл бұрын
Initially, it it a stotram (a form of hymn) accounting supreme Goddess Durgā as having destroyed buffalo demon, Mahishasura hence the name Mahishasuramardini or literally the the slayer of the buffalo demon: 'Mahishasura' means buffalo demon and 'mardini' means slayer. It's a really powerful and intense stotram which makes the body react and feel empowered. The castes who had sole knowledge of them had knowledge of its symbolical and spiritual meanings. However, with time, that knowledge was not passed on to commoners. Therefore, it has not the desired effect on us. However, the beats and rhythms of the stotram, I feel, provides the body that feeling. Chants are a set of vibrations that brings positive results to the body. Such a strong and intense music awakens the innate energy of the Goddess inside us. This only announces the start of a lifetime of blessings. Translated into a form of bharatnatyam, the stotram influences the body in a more direct and physical way as pressure points, movement and overall fitness become more engaging. Not only does it bring the realization of the very Goddess but it also channels a powerful aura that repulses negative vibes. This, however, has nothing to do with the tandava (dance of destruction - usually more metaphorical as it exteriorizes the inner fury of the Goddess) of the Goddess. Bharatnatyam is a form of dance using the imagination to display the meaning of words. The Tandava is a precise set of actions showing the mental state of the Goddess. The Tandava is a dance whereas this performance builds on the stotram.
