You can go trekking on to Meesappuli mala near Munnar, the second highest peak after Aanamudi. Trekking is conducted by Kerala Forest Department through booking.

May be because these places are so nice and beautiful that always get destroyed due to floods and landslides all rainy seasons … when i saw the sooryanelli tea plantation it reminded me of the landslide in 2018. And one thing about what you guys said at the end about guests i think all mallus will have memories of their moms running to their neighbors to get some milk or sugar to borrow whenever there is a guest comes home. And you know one thing thats common for us is that u come to my home announced or not you are not leaving my home without drinking at least a glass of water and that is our custom. I belive you have heard about the festival of Onam . That story is the example of how welcoming we are. Adithi devo bhava is the motto of all indians regarding a guest. Means the guest is equal to god and you should treat them like god.

North East should never be compared with Kerala. Kerala is beautiful in it's own rites, but North East is 10 leagues ahead. One can argue as much but just one trip to our NE will clear any misconception. It's so untouched, so unexplored, so pristine. The entire NE feels like a heaven kept secret from mankind. Every where, literally every where it's picture perfect. The only place in the world comparable to our NE would be Yunan, China which I believe is one of the most gorgeous places on our planet.
