@@swatisaini6447 Hindi and Kannada both have base Sanskrit so a lot of words are similar but pronunciation is slightly different. Like in hindi we say 'prayas' (effort) in Kannada it's 'prayasa' usually and in Sanskrit its 'prayasaha'. I have limited Kannada and Sanskrit knowledge but this is my observation. Also my name is one such word. In sanskrit 'aha' pronunciation is at end of word. Kannada uses 'a'. In Hindi we say 'apoorv', sanskrit 'apoorvaha' and Kannada 'apoorva'.

@healthadvisor84604 жыл бұрын
These 9 days are festive season across India. Navaratri which means nine nights with nine forms of goddess durga is worshiped. It is like the national or common festive season in the country which begins with navratri. After navratri, within few days of interval, Laxmi Puja, then Diwali will be celebrated. The last four-five days of navaratri(6th day onwards) are grandly celebrated in Odisha's Cuttack & Bhubaneshwar and very grand in West Bengal as Sharadiya Durga Puja.

I'm from mysore and thanks for this video 🙏🙏🙏 just to add if anyone is worrying about elephants being mistreated then please read below 1) Elephants are treated very well during the Dasara in mysore. They are brought a month before for training and increasing their tolerance level when moving along with crowd. 2) They are taken care by people who were part of their whole life. They are called mahuths. 3) After the festival they're bid farewell and most of them are left in wild in natural habitat itself. I have heard that elephants look forward for the time of festival as they get a vip treatment during that time.

South India recognizes both Ram's victory over Ravana and Mahishasuramardini's victory over Mahishasura demon because both victories happened on the 10th day called Vijayadasami. Devi Navarathri is all forms of Durga until 9th day and the 10th day is victory. Again Bengal celebrates Durga Puja during the same time.. so its just different highlights in different parts of the country.. but all parts of India have the same foundational stories ..

Before covid there used to be various procession on each day on of the festival and on the last day is the main procession which is ''Jumbo Saavari'', and these processions were to the public and people used to wait in each spot of the city to see them. But now after covid, only more special lightings are put up in the city and small events are held. Not to mention, the traffic is unbelieveble during Dasara! The city gets crowded since everyone come out of their houses to see the lightings 😂 Anyways, I'm happy you reacted to our Mysuru ❣
