Then it will be a LTE drop as well. Signaling of that drop would be similar to SRB reset type drop where the eNB fails tor reach the UE.

Hi Experts, I’m an engineer at a network operator in Vietnam, and I’m encountering an issue related to the EPSFB case with RwR Blind Redirection. When analyzing the MO’s logfile in SIP messages, I noticed that the "SIP PRACK Request" appears twice, while in the MT’s logfile, the "SIP PRACK Request" only appears once. This discrepancy seems to be causing a significant delay in call setup time (approximately 3.9 to 4 seconds). Has anyone experienced a similar issue? If so, I would greatly appreciate your insights or guidance on resolving this problem. Thank you for your help!

In 5G NSA UE doesn't have a direct signaling connection with gNB, as all signaling is controlled by eNB. Then how does NR RACH process signaling happen between UE and gNB?

RRC Signaling is between UE and eNB but the RACH can be done by the gNB.

In case of 5G SA, a RLF is just like a call drop in any other RAT. The UE will drop and go to idle mode and can initiate a new connection then.

There isn't a SINR value defined for this but it is defined as the SINR where the UE is unable to decode PDCCH with a specific AGG level. So, it is based on UE itself because some UEs might be able to decode this PDCCH at a higher SINR compared to others.

Rach failures can be due to low coverage or out of cell range issues. Usually, increasing the B1 threshold or increasing the cell radius helps.
