@@KrystelSpell I WISH my mom had taught me these helpful skills, as an adult having to cook and clean for myself was a shock! I was lazy because she always did everything for me. Different doesn’t mean inferior! Have you tried to “make” a teenager do something they don’t want to do? Her kids clearly enjoy living like little house on the prairie bestie. Take your negativity elsewhere.

Your discussion about coming home from church to a hot meal, ready to eat, reminded me of my childhood. Sunday dinners were usually special and I've always felt that it was an awesome act of love on my mom's part. That was over 50 years ago, and she's been gone over 20 years, so this video brought back sweet memories of those days.

I have a tip for making a large amount of burgers: Get 2 or more large baking sheets (like cookie sheets) and lay down a sheet of parchment paper covering the surface. Scoop balls of ground beef onto the paper until the sheet pan is filled, leaving space between each ball for it to spread. Lay another sheet of parchment over the meat balls, making sure theyre all covered. Then lay a second baking sheet on top, and squiiiisshhh the sheet pans together. Voila!! Burger patties!!! Can do more layers of sheet pans and meat and then do the squishing for a larger yield. Once done you can cut the paper between each patty, stack, and freeze. If you have more layers you can do the squishing by standing on the very top layer of sheet pan and using your body weight, which was one of my faaaavorite things to do when I was younger 😊. My Parents had a restaurant and we used to prep large amounts of homemade burgers this way!!!

Fairlife milk is ultra pasteurized. When you do the boil method, which is what you are doing, you are boiling the milk to ultra pasteurized. ☺️ Then allowing it to cool down so when you add your starter (the yogurt) it doesn’t die from extreme heat. What I do is buy the fairlife, yogurt, and nestle sweet cream (only creamer I use for sweetener), start it in the morning, set it for 9 hours, then put it on the fridge overnight to firm and cool. Yogurt ready for the next day that my kids devour. Hope you get your energy back soon. ♥️

Actually, any UHT (ultra-pasteurized) milk will work for yogurt without having to first be boiled since it's more sterile than low-temp pasteurized milk. People like Fairlife due to the extra protein content which often produces a thicker yogurt.

We make our own pizza all the time, but found it's even easier, if when I make the dough, I spread it out on the pans and partially bake the crusts for about half the suggested time (I look to see the bottom is just slightly browned.) I then let them cool, and freeze the crusts. It makes pizza night that much easier because all we have to do is thaw the crusts, top them and in the oven they go for about 6-8 minutes until the cheese is melted.

I don't necessarily think you will see this but the reason people recommend fairlife milk is just because it's ultra pasteurised milk most grocery stores have their own brand of ultra pasteurised milk which also will work for what's called a "cold start method". But I will say I have used fairlife milk in a does make the best yogurt not really sure why but it works really good, the store brand also works good but it's not as thick and creamy! I do recommend trying it!

I use to leave the dishwasher and washing machine going when I went out until my sister put her dishwasher on and was about to leave when she saw flames coming from it. Chicken dish looks delicious. I kept saying, Sarah, you need another pan. We make a chicken with peas, onions and potatoes.

I know several people who have had their kitchens ruined from flooding from their dishwasher. And working in EMS I have seen too many dryer fires. But I still do it. 🤷‍♀️

I adore hope........_I have a short cut I learned for a deshelling hard boiled eggs. Let them cool down a lil.... take a medium size jar like a pickle jar. Put the egg in with just a tad bit of water, a teaspoon. Put in the jar with the egg. Put jar on lid. Shake jar, from scale 1 to 10 on how hard 1 light 10 your hardest......6....shake about 6, 4 times up and down, 4 times side to side...the peeling should fall off if it doesn’t, try 5...it depends on how old your eggs are...let me know how it goes.........

I LOVE you quiche recipe! I eat dairy free so use almond milk and no cheese and the mayo-milk mixture keeps it so creamy! I add chopped sun dried tomatoes to mine too

Try Fairlife milk, one can of sweetened condensed milk and a couple tablespoons of Fage unflavored or vanilla yogurt. Hit the yogurt button and leave for 8-10 hours. I go for about 10 hours because I like it thick. There is some good reason to use Fairlife, but I can't remember it. It's super good. Give it a shot - it's super easy. Once you make a batch, you can use that yogurt to add to your next batch.
