Your kitchen looks beautiful! The great thing about black and white kitchens, is that you can add a pop of color, for example, red kitchen towels. There are so many color choices that you can use inexpensively

I'm always shocked at how many people do not have under cabinet lighting, especially after an expensive reno. It's really the single most important thing. Low cost and MASSIVE impact on the look and function.

We got the LED tape lights. Easy to out in and you can get connectors to splice the sections together. You can use the lights that work with smart home products or use a smart outlet to turn them on.

I love the black tile with the natural wood shelves it’s so different.

When it’s all decorated you can add those tiny twinkle light strings to something on the shelf’s for those days that are dark in the fall and winter to add more light without being too bright. You can add them to greenery or weave them in and out of thing. I use them a lot here in montana during the darkest times of the year. Just a thought

Now seeing it done, I don't think you could have brought the counter/ Island tops to blend in any better with any other colour, it works SO well. Thrilled for you yayyyyy 🤩

I have to say at first I was like naaaa. But then seeing the tiled wall by the window with the wood shelves I was like ohh yess!! We did a full wall tiling around our kitchen window and I love that look so much. Your kitchen looks great! It gave me a city rehabbed warehouse style loft feel. ❤️❤️

LED strip UNDER CABINET LIGHTING, IS THE WAY FORWARD. NOT EXPENSIVE ON THE ELECTRIC BILL. LONG LASTING. the black tile looks beautiful. I have always loved black tiles. Absolutely stunning! AND the countertops and island look GREAT with the black and white other things! Your friend has good taste! So glad that most of it is done... When the shelves are in it will be even better.... Love also the extra cupboards up above. ANY extra storage with 12, almost thirteen is a blessing.

I love how the black tiles go with your existing countertops! That turned out so great! The tile looks wet and looks cool. I have white cabinets, butcher block countertops and grey subway tile backsplash, I almost put white tiles in and I’m so glad I went with grey. Belle, I appreciated the Beatle break in there. 🤩

Your revamped kitchen looks beautiful. I love the tiles. Taking the units away from round the window has really opened up that space. The shelves will be a great space for growing herbs. Well. When I 1st saw the wall of tile with the window, I'm thinking oh I don't think I like it but as long as they like it... But as the video went on, it grew on me quickly.
