I really appreciate the way you interpret the Bible.. I say this because in the 52 years I've been on this planet, I have been told that interracial marriage is TOTALLY against Gods word. I could never understand that. I mean if a man loves a woman and wants to spend his life with her to honor her, have a family with her, put HER needs before his own needs, how can that be wrong? The color of ones skin has NOTHING to do with what's in their heart. Imagine a world where everyone interpreted the bible the same way... my mind is blown, and I am thankful to you two for sharing that with us!!🥰

I’m sure you made all your ancestors proud by race-mixing. And only people who are socialist, Marxist, and believe in annihilating other races to make just one race call people who object to race-mixing racist! How more racist can you be if you want to breed out one race for another, which race mixing ultimately does. So please spare us the racism argument when your family members and we’ll-intentioned people object to race-mixing. PLEASE. Geez-whiz!!!!

Once a nurse always a nurse as my grandmother put it. She kept on helping people even after she retired. She past away years ago at 103 years two months shy of her 104th. She was born in 1909. Plus she died 20 days before my birthday. So whenever you run into an emergency you can always help until the paramedics show and let them know what you did until them. After all, it could easily be a life and death situation. Plus you can teach your children what to do until help shows and save a life.

Moses only had one wife, who was from a Midianite tribe. The original Hebrew word, Cush, was an area of eastern Ethiopia inhabited by this tribe. Zipporah was of Semitic descent, where Moses’ marriage to her was not anything in the least interracial. That Moses’ wife was black is often used as a justification and rationalization for many to accept interracial marriages. Totally fallacious argument and rationale.

I have always have my boys to treat all people the same!! And they do! I have told them them there are good and bad people no matter what color or race they are! I got a kick out of my youngest when he came home from head start! He told me (at 3 years old). My class ha s lot of different flavored of chocolate in it! Mom there are White, Milk and dark Chocolate! I thought that was a good way of describing them all! The teacher and her assistant liked it to! He was trying to be nice to them all! The assistant was s very nice older African American woman! She just hugged and kissed him! She told he was so smart and cute! That year there were a lot of mixed kids I. His class. But that never bothered sny of them but one mother’s dheson was very hyper with our his meds! He had to get them from school nurse so the teachers snd school knew he took them. If not he could hurt someone sn adult or child. That year he was the only child that was all African American.little kids say the darkest things! I was proud he did it with respect to all!

I shared it with his god mother and the teacher and her assistant.( the teacher was white but her assistant was African American). They thought that was a great way to explain them all! The assistant teacher thought he was good at e planning it. I explained he has a Carmel colored God-mother.( his disruption of her skin). . The helper knew her and her family. She told Jacob he had a great God mon! He told her yes he does and got a grandma and papa there too! They love them all! We have never treated them differently and they never treat us differently. But they are family to us now and have been for years!! I love everyone! We all bleed the same!! And that I Sm proud to say my boys look at the person not skin color or physical looks!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful family with us!! My oldest son’s name is Seth also!! Just love it!!

One day she missed the bus coming from work and started to walk home. My son saw her walking and tried to stop her she got nervous started walking faster as he called her name . She turned around and saw it was him . It was a miracle to see her here in us. They got married several months later work in the church and still do missionary work in mexico . I now have a beautiful grandson. They never kissed until the wedding and were each others first. I hate prejudice in this world . Everyone should not see color.

Hi Sarah and Solo! Thank you for your perspectives on interracial marriage. My Aunt had gone through that about 25 years ago where the family was angry about her love with a black man. She never married or had children since she split from him. I think it made a huge impact on my family, as I married a black man and had nothing but support from that side of the family. It is hard, we left our Church, with a big part of it over racism. It's something you kind of just deal with as an interracial couple and remind your children daily they are blessings from God. Thank you for your outreach here online, and hope one day we will meet you. You all have been a blessing here to our home as well!

If you have a problem with interracial marriage, it's a sin and heart issues. It's also institutional ignorance. Solo, I'm so glad that you mentioned Moses and Keturah's marriage. God did judge Miriam and her husband for their sin. What God has put together, let no man including woman can separate. We, as people, are so quick to judge and criticize what we don't understand. God's ways a higher than our ways. It will take eternity to figure out God. My family is full of interracial marriages and relationships. We're not loving our neighbors as ourselves. Those who have the mindset that interracial marriages are not of God, are missing out on some of the best relationships and friendships you can ever have. I have 3 biracial grandchildren. I love their mothers. It's all about the love of the Jesus Christ. Happy Mother's day to all of you virtuous and beautiful Moms. Much love to everyone!!! ❤️🙏

Dear Solo and Sarah, your discussion about interracial marriage really touch my heart and makes me want to cry. I am an Asian and my husband is a White guy. We live in a southern state and had a hard time to find a pastor for our wedding because a lot of them refused to host a wedding for an interracial couple. Eventually my mother-in-law found a nice pastor who was really to retire but agreed to host our wedding as his one last time before his retirement. I really appreciate your words regarding this issue, and your explanation helps to ease my pain that I experienced during my wedding perpetration. Solo you were right about people abusing bible...thank you both for your talk. -Grace

Margaret Guest - Yes there are midwives here, but not as common. There also Dulas which are similar to midwives. But most woman labor in the hospital with nurses in and out of the room. Then deliver with a Dr. I think Call the Midwife has gotten more popular since Downton Abbey aired. I love watching both of them. Was sad when Downton ended, and will feel the same when the Midwives end as well. Good tv- Stay safe!

Agree! Unless it’s medical forms bc that actually can affect certain medications. Or so I’ve heard but since I’m no where near that field not 100% certain. I’d love to be informed if I’m wrong bc I can find information supporting both sides of the conversation on the internet.

I already do that. So far I have never heard from anyone about it so maybe we should all not be so afraid to be different. Also when questions are so long and meaningless I just draw a line through it. No one says a thing and at the doctor's offices they see you anyway.

To erase our races would deny how creative God is. He didn’t accidentally make us different. It was a part of His intelligent design. 🙂
