You may have missed one of her responses. She does not sugar coat the issue of racism in Korea due to skin color. I love her personality in the way that it's innate to not view people as different and treat them with biased discrimination. Although in reality it's important to be aware, that she didn't notice other native Koreans' discrimination towards foreigners in Korea due to having the opinion that there shouldn't be a problem in the first place, is like her mindset was untampered rather than a case of ignorance. This is a reminder that discrimination is literally a taught social construct and people aren't supposed to be built this way.

I LOVE RELATIONSHIPS that transcend race and language, I'm rooting for them. I hope the father teaches & speaks to his daughter in Twi so she can learn her Ghanaian culture NOT JUST Korean. African families, BIPOC families, and Interracial Black & Asian-Korean families please make it a priority to send your kids to an English Immersion Nursery Schools, Foreign English School, Korean & English dual-language Middle schools, and/or USA System English International High schools. Make sure the environment has a predominately BIPOC children population, like an army bases or a town where African immigrants live in Korea. These English and Korean dual-language schools start at age 3 for Preschool, 4 years old for Pre-K, and 5 years old for Kindergarten which is called Nursery School or in Korean called an “English Kindergarten”. hey are great for Back and Blasian kids because it’s racially diverse, so less chances for bullying. USA system-based Dual-language schools are instructed in English and have Korean History-Culture classes, so a home you can focus on teaching your child your African mother language. At home instill your African-Black culture through affirmations and doing her natural hair DAILY. Put your children in an African language & culture class that teaches African drums & African dance class. This will increase your children’s pride in their ethnicity, race, language, and African culture. Now that Korea is turning International and Foreign to public schools other BIPOC children, African children, and Korean Mixed children can go to these English-speaking schools with diversity in the future for free. Black children NEED racial diversity it's IMPORTANT FOR BLACK CHILDREN NOT TO FEEL ISOLATED IN KOREA BECAUSE OF THEIR DIFFERENCES. It’s best to make them have a racially diverse friend group with Black-African, West Asian, White, Latinx, and Mixed-Korean, etc.…kids NOT JUST Korean kids. If you can't send your Black children to these types of schools please ENROLL them in an ENGLISH Hagwon DAILY with BIPOC children. Especially since English is a global language.

it's impressive how quickly and easily the foreigners adapt to this culture and you don't anymore see the looks and the difference in their appearance. all the mixed couples become one ❤🙏😊 abroad, everyone tends to stay as they are, but here you can see the respect and interest in adapting into the new culture and a new home. the baby is adorable and they look happy ❤

Also think about this. Why are some Americans being called Native Americans, African Americans and Asian Americans if their ancestry is from America, Asia and Africa but Europeans are NEVER called European Americans, just Americans? Like we own the continent when the truth is our race migrated from Europe?
@rand0mgirly Жыл бұрын
It's a culture thing that needs to be changed. I am black. I've stopped calling myself African American. I am simply American. People sometimes correct me, but I just correct them back. We just have to start changing this and hopefully others will follow.

What you talking about Asians are closer to us Caucasians then blacks ( Eurasia ) us Caucasians and Asians come from the same family tree we got split up 41'000 years ago us Caucasians and Asians also share the same Neanderthal DNA blacks don't

prolly because ghanaian and jamaicans share the same ancestry the term jamaica i think comes from the akan language gya-ma ya ka which means "we might be stuck"
@nathanielmills4678 Жыл бұрын
@@joeldixon3057 the term Jamaica actually comes from the original inhabitants of the island. Quote from the Jamaican government site: "The original inhabitants of Jamaica are believed to be the Arawaks, also called Tainos. They came from South America 2,500 years ago and named the island Xaymaca, which meant “land of wood and water”."
