@@FoolishBaileyLeaving joking mode here: as a fervent Mets fan who last year went to Atlanta only to see the third game of a Braves sweep of the Mets and experienced those fans’ whole…thing (chanting, constant chopping (mostly stadium-sanctioned, which was extra horrible), mocking (far more than I’ve ever observed Mets fans do), gloating, jeering, etc.), even though I’m sure you’re much better than that, it left such a sour taste in my mouth that I just can’t help but hope the team suffers. I hate wishing ill on others, but I still feel nonnegligibly traumatized by the experience of the fans. My dad (who was also there) still denies we even went to Atlanta despite enjoying the museums and food and history and stuff, just because of the whole ballpark experience.
