If I’m not mistaken this particular bearded guard often does nothing either when the tourist gets too close, touch the reins, crosses the line or feel up the horse.

These Guards (especially the SLEEPY ONE) are USELESS AND SHOULD BE RELIEVED OF THEIR DUTY!!! THIS IS SICKENING TO WATCH ... IT'S WORSE THAN IT WAS BEFORE THE RULES WERE PUT UP!! IF HE IS GOING TO SLEEP THROUGH ALL OF THOSE BREAKING THE RULES, GO SLEEP IN THE STABLES!!! There was even a woman touching the horse and trying to grab the reins!

Do you realize that everytime the guard has to jerk the reins out of a tourists hand the horses mouth is hurt from the bit? Please guards enforce the rules so you are not hurting your horse's mouth because a tourist decides they are entitled to grab the reins.

I am so disgusted with the way the guards are doing nothing to enforce the new rules! What an absolute waste of the viewers time and effort to get the rules changed. Makes me sorry I ever spoke up for them!!!

Shame on all of them! These new "rules" were put into effect to protect the horses, as the horses were so stressed out that they had to force them into the boxes, and once there, they had to fight to keep them in the box, and yet they've decided that the tourists are more important than the horses are. But it's a country that loves horses?!

Since nothing has changed with signs being put up and the horse guards not protecting their mounts when people cross over the painted white lines for pictures or to pet their horse, I’m finished watching. The guards are worthless.

Having the official rules carried out according to the trooper's own discretion made the whole system break down by confusing and contradictory implementation. This is a serious misstep, particularly within a military enclave. No military in the world would enforce official rules this way. This is stupid and wrong!

Nothing happened to the new rules except that the Blues and Royals are not enforcing the rules on the tourists. It is their responsibility to protect their horses from the influx of tourists who visit Horse Guards.

Well well. The little girl just asked if she could touch the horse and he shook his head NO. He didn't say a word. So what's the problem? Why are all these people allowed to touch the horse and be inside the box. A lady even come in the box and PULLED THE REINS while he was looking to the right.
