@TheWandererAUS just watched the Mt Isa eposides. I can remember my dad placing his hand on the windscreen when travelling these roads about 60 years ago. I'm 70 now and don't get out as much these days but still enjoy travelling with my Ranger, I'm real old school but enjoy the modern convenience of having a fridge lol. Happy New Year to you also.

@@Ray-747 absolutely mate... Putting the finger on the windscreen was what ended up becoming the truckies wave... People thought that others were waving at them... But in fact it was to stop the windscreen from smashing! 🤣 Glad you are enjoying the clips mate 👍👍😁😁

I love the clip and keep them coming, you've talked me into it ,the dig tree is now on our todo list. As for the Bourke and Wills expedition, what a complete cluster .... from start to finish.John King only survived though the good graces of the locals, who only stumbled apron him by chance.7 dead and failing to meet the objective , I could be wrong I've been wrong before, but I'm putting that whole trip as one massive failure. On a lighter note, what the chances of a fire side chat about yourself nothing to personal just what ever you feel comfortable with?

Yeah it's hard to say if it was a success or failure... As it was the rescue parties that went looking for them that were the ones who truly opened up outback Australia to the colonies... Yeah a fireside chat might be a good idea. Am thinking of maybe doing a Livestream too at the end of the trip for any q and a or just a chat 👍

ohh brilliant! It is definitely a must do if making your way out there! Make sure to allocate a night to stay there, as it really is in the middle of no-where. The campgrounds there were fantastic as you could see in the clip. Make sure you have cash though to pay the small fee. Such a magic spot!
