I've had one just like this for awhile now. I find simply running the water briefly during spin is more than enough to rinse the clothes adequately. There's no soap residue if I do this. I also gently hand wring out the clothes as I move them from the wash to the spin side. This saves adding as much water to the wash side as the clothes are removed. I find I can do several loads of wash using less than 10 gallons, less than the highest rated efficient conventional washing machine.

I genuinely find it for than sufficient to do laundry if you were camping or a small RV.

I just bought and waiting for the Giantex/Costway model ($129) from Amazon. Yours looks like a more deluxe model but it works on the same principle. I'm single and only do 1 load per week so I think this will be a game changer for me. I hate using the laundry facilities in my apartment complex... people are such slobs here and they leave nasty things in the washer. Thanks for being thorough on the rinsing drying step. You're the only demo I've seen that has included that step. Great tutorial!

My mom had a Hoover twin tub, it had a thing/paddle at the back that went around in just one direction and the result was great as I was a boy-scout and got plenty of practice undoing the knots that were the clothes .;-)

4:00 I like how you add the rags in. Waiting for the vortex to suck them in. We've never done that with our twin tub. What matters is the items be as small as possible. Balling up bigger items if necessary

Yeah, seems to be the traditional way to load the twin tubs, I find it good as I don’t overload it. Just the way i remember it being done 🤣

that type of washing machines is very popular in the philippines because labor cost is low, min wage is about $10/day......if your time is worth a lot of dollars, its better to buy the automatic type

As I said before it's soooo small and dinky I do like it!!! But wow as soon as you did the 1st 15 mins wash you could actually see the water turning purple!!! But did notice you put something with a purple stain in it!! And probably because of the vanish as well I bet!!! Fab video as always!! XX

It’s a good handy little machine. I had been using a few times some car polish on the vacs that is purple in colour, I think that I what have made it have it’s purple tinge lol.

Lol cool!! It's handy you can do that outside as well so it is!! And it will just drain away and you don't have to connect it to a tap like the 1s on a front load washer!! I'm sure you could do that with the big twin tub actually that'll be handy that if your busy in the garden or its a glorious day and your enjoying the sun you don't have to go inside when it's done and move it into the spinner bit!! 😁😁 Lol XX

You use a lot of water doing the spin,rinse cycle. Would you be as well or better to decant wash to a plastic tub &do more wash loads. Finally drain wash water, refill & do rinses in that tub, then spin without extra water or very little. Hard to figure best way to do a good wash & good rinse with least water wasted. This was a very good demo video. Will watch again

This machine allows to wash and spin at the same time? Our Hitachi from the eighties only does one at a time. It didn't have a water stream into the spinner either. That's a new one for me 😊

Yes, I do find that very helpful as you can get through the task quicker.

Can you drain the washtub at the same time as spin-drying clothes? Edit: I guess I saw you doing exactly that but wouldn't that put too much work on the drain-pump?

Yes you can, you can put water in and spin at the same time, no issues

You can either unscrew the paddle at the bottom, add a little water to rinse and tip out or do the same without removing the paddle.

The hold up pretty well, hot regular washes, I use loads per project and it’s mainly just dirt rather than lots of oil and grease thankfully.

You and one other person show how to properly use these kinds of washers. The instructions are terriblle. I used to have a big washer called an easy spinner a regular size washer with a separate spinner. Thanks for show people how to use these washers.

The instructions on a lot of them say not to use very hot water bec it damages elements in the machine.

Yes, that’s very true, the plastic components aren’t suitable. But I’ve used tap medium hot water and it’s been fine.
