Roku & Pabu went out to the farm where we do a lot of our free flight days! they met up with Kevin the galah, Bumi the yellow tailed black cockatoo and some of the crew from Pheonix and friends :D

Pabu and Kevin had a fantastic time running riot and burning energy, PLEASE understand the slomotion clip of Roku & Pabu was harmless, I actually know my birds inside and out, they bicker and argue non stop but are good friends. The slow motion clip made it look worse but I included it as I thought it was funny.
I'm pre-emptively getting in now before the experts cast their vicious judgements as they somehow know my birds better then I do haha :D

Korra is still choosing to stay at home and have showers and eat food, I ask every day if she wants to come out and the answer I get is "GET OUTTA MY ROOM!!!!" sheeeeez I can take a hint! lol

Oh, I understand. I was raising geese, ducks, turkeys, and chickens. I also had 2 goats. All of which I have eaten in the past and had plans to eat some of the poultry but after raising them I didn't have the heart. I suppose if it became a necessity I would have even eaten my goats which I loved. I used to tease them when they we naughty and told them I liked roasted goat so they best behave. We were going to move so I rehomed my goats and poultry. Still haven't moved but don't have to go out in the snow to take care of them. I have inside pets now.

Sorry if my comment about the Emus was shocking. There was an Emu and Ostrich ranch craze here in the US during the 1980s and 1990s but it didn't really get off the ground and people lost a lot of money and just turned their Emus loose mostly in SoCal. I guess people just couldn't wrap their heads around eating these huge funny looking chickens. They don't know what they are missing. I can still find Ostrich in health food stores but have never seen Emu in a store. The Emu I had was from a private farm that wanted to cull their flock. A friend of mine helped with the butchering for a share of the meat. I have seen emu oil which was sourced in SoCal. I didn't know if Australians (other than indigenous people) ate Emu. I didn't even know you could have them as pets because they are native to Australia. Are the ones on your farm pets or wild on the land? Oh yeah what is redclaw?

we used to have cattle and bananas, some redclaw. Now it's not used for work purposes but theres horses, goats, ducks, chickens, dogs, emus etc its completely off the grid so all self sufficient now :)

omg no haha, they are just free to run around and be free :) the only things that are eaten are the chickens and ducks, but even then its less and less as my dad tends to head toward more vegetarian lifestyle. :)
