My father introduced us to the ocean, foraging, fishing,netting,diving, and cooking over a fire after. Now, to be able to do this with my grandsons is exciting and fun. Seeing a good fillet job is so satisfying 👍🏼 The first fishing I learned was poke poling. We use to catch 2-3 ft ones on Treasure Island 10+ years ago. I love the japanese style videos man hits home for me.

Great catch/cook and how to video. Kudos to the camera woman (sorry didn't want to butcher the spelling) with the great angles during the fillet job. I like the thick spine on your knife. There is a nice Japanese knife store in Berkeley that has really good knives. I might pop in again to check some out. I know they are not cheap but you can't beat the quality. Thanks for sharing.
