Remote compound with signs of a sizable power plant, plumbing fixtures, pumping stations, and a fallout bunker. I believe if you went further out, you would have found another compound, and possibly a couple of underground silos. This compound looks like an auxiliary compound supporting one or two other compounds (ICBM Silos), but everything points to a strategic aerial defense systems. Mil/Leo Analyst ret.

It doesn't seem like a military installation. It may be, but it seems like a research center, that was occupied by several people. There is so much, large infrastructure installed in the ground, it makes you wonder what the buildings must have been like. Is there no historical record of this place? It is really large, indeed. Thanks for going up there, and exploring!

I think in every trailer park they should have a safe area to go to in case of fires and tornadoes and I don't mean in the middle of the park. Right under the trailer and underground. Have a drop shoot made between trailer and ground like a sleeve. If your home gets thrown somewhere else you'll have different options in a flood flair and a Bowie, and fires

When I lived in Armstrong there was a roller very similar to one in your video - it was located at the airport and was utilized in packing the runway...back in the day we performed numerous medivacs out of the community and the runways were packed snow...takeoffs and landings (to me anyway) where sketchy ...the aircraft had large ballon style landing wheels...makes me wonder if the location in your video might have at one time incorporated a runway...great vid Rob and thanks for sharing...it has all the earmarks of having been military in nature.

@@waynebeck7801 used for packing snow on runways ... back in the day many Northwestern Ontario runways were not cleared of snow, instead, they would run these heavy rollers up and down the landing strips to create a hard base for aircraft to land on...the aircraft were either equipted with skis or a special type of large landing wheel which would have low inflation values in order to mitigate the possibility of breaking thru the packed snow...hope that clarifys the roller mystery

What is the point in stopping anyone else from experiencing this for them selfs like you did? I have been to all kinds of abondanded places across british columbia and liked making day or weekend trips out of going and exsploring these kinds of places. Mostly old mines and ghost towns but since moving to ontario has been very limited to things like this out here. I am just confused on why keeping this location a secret is benifiting anyone or yourself oposed to having other people being able to experience these things and atleast getting somekind of enjoyment out of whats left there and is nothing to everybody but a select few adventuriest

@joshtakken dear confused, I'm not stopping anyone, do the research and go there like I did. I didn't get any help from anyone. Interesting location. The title is a bit of clickbait, the land is probably still "government owned" and like any private property, they don't really want people wondering around, hence the usual" keep out" signs. Otherwise they'd be liable maintenance and injuries to the public etc. But governments everywhere own things, and as time passes, governments change, and nobody notices something that was mothballed decades ago and no longer has any importance. I doubt today's Canadian government has any idea that place ever existed. One day someone in a government office will find a document in a draw and say "Do we still own that?" and then put it up for sale. 😂

I can't stop people from releasing locations on Social Media but any location that I've been to and it's been public knowledge has either been severally tagged, burned or destroyed...not to mention that once the government finds out about these popular locations, it's no trespassing signs or even worse, it's been torn down. I find that a lot of people want the location given to them, when I've located and gone out and explored these sites on my own. If they want to find them, do the work like I do and go see if there's something there. This site has No Trespassing signs for the road to this location, so you'll have to walk over 2kms to get there legally. I also don't want to tell someone where to go and then have them hurt themselves and try and sue me for it. Many reasons why I don't give out locations on Social Media! So I can't stop anyone from releasing the location or going there but I can delete them on my KZbin Channel for the above reasons. Thanks!
