Please let your son Levi know how much we appreciate all the information he has about trees and in this case, the wasp larvae in oaks!! How amazing!! We definitely are not bored with all his great information!!! WE LOVE IT!! Thanks Mike for taking all the EXTRA TIME it takes to bring us along doing your videos! Always a pleasure to see Levi and be educated by his knowledge of tree's. There are so many things us humans take for granted and don't know about nature. The new tractor did that work effortlessly. Great work and love the video's as always. Have a blessed day :)

Pond looks great Mike, the Skid Loader is a BEAST - never hear the engine much above idle. It can move a mountain of material in short order. It will be nice for the Grandchildren to have a fishing spot, probably would not take much to get fish going. Neighbor Cliff's drive looks fantastic, you have great hand eye coordination, common sense when using your equipment, it is enjoyable to watch. The dirt does look like it has the right stuff for gardening or food plots - thanks for sharing with us :) ❤💯🙏

DEJA VU [all over again !!] I seem to remember you and a orange tractor, years ago. Spreading stone on your driveway. You explained then, as now, why you don't tailgate or "dump" stone from the bucket. It is - shake / lightly scatter stone by shaking the controls. I also remember Melissa, you and the big Stihl 881? cutting the stump from the fallen oak at the pond. You counted the tree rings and guessed its' age. Good memories, Thanks take care

What a nice way to take the new off your 4020. Cliff has a new drive again. Wouldn't it be nice to have a roller. I guess it would help the stone remain longer in a fresh state. But you've taken care of mom's, sister's, Levi's, Cliff's, and your own now for many years wout a roller. That'll just keep your talent good and sharp. You really have proven that the land plane is the right tool for stone driveways. Nice video, Mike. Thanks for sharing.👍🚜❤️🙏🇺🇲🇺🇲

I enjoyed today's video. You're correct about the pond dirt. It will make some good soil. There is a cow pasture about four miles from where I live, I believe the owner cuts hay off if it sometimes, but he covered the entire field with pond dredging and he didn't have to use any fertilizer for several years.

Aweseome video as always, Mike. Love to see you playing in the stones and dirt!! You mentioned the Hemlocks in the woods towards the end of the video... do any of them have the dreaded Wooly Adelgid infestation that seems to be going around here in PA? Those things are everywhere now. Major issue up in Cook Forest's "Cathedral" area of old forest. We live in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, and several of our trees are slowly being killed by this pest. There are treatments to get rid of them, but you have to treat the trees consistently in order to keep them at bay... If you have any hemlock trees that are valued members of your forest family, you may want to look into them.

Hello Mike, the silt that you removed from the pond is certainly worth keeping, the soil makeup is good and if you decide to use it in a garden have the soil tested for ph and add the recommended nutrients. You will be glad you did. Levi appears to know some things about entomology, I’m an 87 year old retired pest control guy who started a company in 1977. Been retired for over 20 years now. It has just enough hp to grade your gravel and lift the bucket. I think I personally would have gotten a 80 hp tractror if i could have. We use to have and old John deer 2010 I think it might have been 40 hp ? It was kind of weak, of corse it was gasoline engine. Diesels have a lot more torque so I be its great. We had a 80 hp ford with no cab. It was rough in the hot sun on those old tractors. My dad would have loved a cab with AC Im sorry he didnt live long enough to get one. They make an attachement to tumble the dirt with a screen It will sift out the dirt and leave the rocks in the basket .

Seeing that your spreading stone in this, rather odd thing happened to me today. I have a driveway that's all stone and is roughly half a mile that I put in after building my home. I was coming up the drive today and noticed out of the corner of my eye what looked like two pieces of stone flying through the air away from my pickup. One piece travelled 120 feet and the other went about half that distance. It looked like they had been hit by a golf club. I got out and went to pick them up because they had went down in to my hey field and the two pieces fit together perfectly. No doubt I had ran over it and it exploded and shot like a rocket down into my field. Everything had to have been perfect for this to happen. Maybe stress within the stone itself
