Hi Melissa, My husband and I watch the Morgan’s all the time. I’ve started watching your new channel as well. Mike, Melissa is the one who cooks and feeds the entire family. A priority on your list SHOULD be a new oven for her kitchen. Melissa, you definitely deserve it!! God bless the Morgan’s.

Hi Mike & Melissa - I'm a bit behind on my videos, so will catch up today. Nice to see how "supportive" Melissa is for Mike's purchases. I do enjoy the banter between the two of you, but you might want to give a little Mike to some of Melissa's needs. Blessings to you both, and to your family. Haven't watched the driving lesson yet, but will get to it today. TTFN

OK Mike as hard as Melissa works talking about pool plans would not be a bad idea. I've had one for 30 years and with you two having grand kids think of how much fun they would have and their memories.

Thank you for the chuckle and memory. My grandfather had a farm near Hollidaysburg PA. His hay barn had a 6-foot-long steel spike (jag) suspended by overhead rope. When dropped into a load of loose hay small barbs would extend to lift the hay from the wagon. I've heard my dad say, "That's a good jag."

I had the bigger one for a 5 gal bucket. It was the same brand. Just make sure you clean it good. In fact it took me longer to clean the system than it took to stain the building. I even bought the pole extension so I could reach the high spots from the ground. Those airless sprayers work really good. You won’t be disappointed. They are fast. Like I said just over do the cleaning. Also get a bottle of graco conditioner to suck into the pump if you are going to store it a while. Works great. Good luck....

I use the sprayers quite often for work, they are not as hard to clean as they say, if your using solvent based products when you suck the cleaner up just spray back into can the product till cleaner starts to come through. Then just recirculate through hose back into same can as pick up is in. Once this has been done for a few mins. Transfer your pick up into clean solvent and run until it comes clear and your done. The dirty solvent can be used several times. Wheew that was longer than I thought when I started. I guess long story short it’s worth the clean up and results are worth it if you are able to spray evenly. Tip vs product is very important

I've got a pro series airless and love that thing. Downside is clean-up. Takes a solid hour if done right and if I was spraying oil based paint mine takes about 2 gallons of solvent to clean everything but I also have a 50' hose.Painted everything from small buildings to heavy equipment and implements with it.Had it close to 20 years now.

Couple of comments about the sprayer: I have an older version of the same one, plus a larger one at our property in TN. You will quickly realize for all the time and effort it saves, it also generates a LOT more waste and clean up hassle you have to deal with. I would start looking for water based sealers, stains, paints, etc... to use or you're going to generate a good amount of waste solvent that is a PAIN to deal with. Also, the recommended tip size is almost always NOT the tip you will end up using. Whatever tip is recommended, I would buy the next size smaller and narrower. Just my experience. Definitely run the blue lube liquid thru it when you're done. If not, the check ball will rust in its seat and next time you use it you'll have to take it apart and free it up.....at the worst time. Last, but not least.... do NOT park anywhere NEAR where you're painting. Overspray + wind can EASILY go a couple hundred feet. You can't see it, but you will notice a rough surface on your vehicle, tractors, sawmill, etc. ALL of this I learned the hard way.....of course.

Python 357 I agree 100%! I got my sprayer after it was discarded because it wasn’t cleaned out. I keep mineral spirits in it per instructions! Very good comment.

If you plan on using the sprayer a lot you need to get a strategy for cleaning it. Get a few cans that be sealed. In the first one pump the paint out of the hose, to do this take the tip out and pump slowly. In that can stir in some sawdust and put outside in the sun to harden. Keep doing this n successive jobs until the can is full, dispose. Then get a can about quarter full of thinner and cycle this by putting what comes out of the gun back into the suction can. Pump it around until it's uniformly thinned. You can close this can and set aside the solids will settle out and separated, put that sludge in the can with the sawdust. This dirty thinner can be used next time to do the first pumping. Third pump around use new thinner and circulate around and keep as you did the second pumping. Finally pump clean thinner and leave in the hose. Pump this into one of the cans the next time you paint. Take the gun apart and clean with new thinner, should be pretty easy. Keep cycling the thinner down the line until it's can't be used again, mix this with the paint you pumped out of the hose and do the sawdust trick. Kind of amazing how a can of paint will harden with the sawdust in it. The trash collectors in my area will take an open can of paint that has had sawdust in it and cured. Keep track of which can is which. You can cut you consumption of thinner way down and disposing of dirty thinner is a pain. Or if you go into painting full time you can get one of these.www.jbtools.com/uni-ram-urs500-120-volt-5-gallon-solvent-recycler/?gclid=CjwKCAjwwMn1BRAUEiwAZ_jnEil6qbv5VKs8jjpb3NJkidVqLPTlg2tTm32p57WbAl_fikF61G-egRoCMLwQAvD_BwE

Just ordered my new Pro 28 From Chris. Just finished cutting and splitting all the logs that have been laying in the front yard. Yard was looking nice and the wife was happy. Just then a tru ck with a 14' dump trailer pulled up and dropped a load of logs. Great timing. Will cut everything down to size and split when the new Wolf Ridge gets here. Mike you gotta stop bring home new toys or you'll be banned from the tool store.

There is one issue with a sprayer people seem to miss when doing wood. If you read the label on the can it says, when using a sprayer it is recommended to back brush. So you still have to brush. I used to seal decks, here is a tip. Buy your self a 5" brush that the handle screws off, take the handle off, and put the brush on a broom handle. Put stain in a deep paint pan, when applying seal the sides of two deck boards first, then come back down the middle of each board. You will be done in record time and you never have to bend over. I've stained fences the same way, of course, you don't need the broom handle.

Hey Mellissa, I think a nice 5 burner Wolf range with oven would look great in your kitchen. And there is a matching built-in wall oven should the necessity arise. Hopefully you have propane or natural gas......If you come out west, come all the way out to rural California, it is so much nicer, infinitely nicer, than the cities.

Was wondering, as much wood as you cut, do you use a grinder to sharpen chains? Something like Oregon 410-120? I used to do mine with a file but the grinder does a much better job. Returns a chain to like new condition. Chains here are expensive. Got the grinder from Amazon for around $150.
