Alpaca wool is amazing! Some people who get skin irritation from merino, can wear alpaca. It's got a higher insulation to weight ration than merino and other common wools. It's incredibly soft, lightweight, and warm. I live in Northern Norway, so the weather is always shite, and alpaca is the best

One thing i will say about Alpaca Wool is that it needs to be handled with care. I bought a pair of 100% alpaca wool pants for my son, they accidentally went through the dryer once and died: shrunk 5 sizes and lost all of its incredible stretch.

Ahh wool is so difficult to handle sometimes. The same thing happened to my jumper even though I followed the washing instructions!

@@JamesLeung I don't know what the washing instruction said, but here's a pro tip from someone who's worn a lot of wool and never shrunk it: Always wash it on the cold/gentle/handwash cycle. That means 30 C water and maximum 800 spin cycle. Doesn't matter what kind of wool it is (alpaca, merino, cashmere, regular old sheep) or what it's mixed with; if something contains even a shred of wool, this is how I wash it. Larger items like sweaters are dried flat. Really fancy stuff like pure wool tailored trousers I usually just don't wash unless I drop my entire cup of coffee on them or something; then I hand wash. The thing that shrinks the wool is the temperature and/or the spin cycle, usually a combination of both, which is why wool clothes will shrink in the drier. Heat + friction = felting. Felting = shrinking. So keeping the temperature low and the spin cycle to a minimum is a very safe way of washing wool :) Also wool "sheds" water really well so it doesn't actually *need* more than 800 spins, in my experience. Oh, and this should go without saying, but always use wool detergent! Regular detergent will destroy your wool over time. It doesn't have to be fancy; you can probably find wool/silk detergent at the grocery store. In Norway it's called Milo, and is a household staple. (Whoa, that was an essay! I really love wool and want to make sure no-one shrinks their wool items

I think you might have the pants on the third outfit wrong. I dont think najibasma is wearing the knit twill cargo pants because of the elastic waistband, because he's wearing a belt. The fixed waist baggy utility pants might be the one in his photos. Nice video regardless.
