That is one palatial pooper! Very nice summary video. One of the first commercial timber frames I ever did was a timber framed outhouse!

Why did you face nail the siding? That could have all been hidden. Is that stronger?

I could have hidden the nails, yes, but wanted to stay away from the edges of the boards to decrease splitting risk
