A pickup sold as the Dodge D50 but it had a 2.0L Dodge 4 cylinder and a 5-speed stick. Being in a 2019 Outlander, I can 100% confirm this
@marketingmajor81263 жыл бұрын
@@AKZbinChannelwithNoName But the 2019 model is an actual Mitsubishi design and manufactured car. For 2022 and up they are switching to Nissan platform with some miscellaneous Mitsu parts thrown in so they can say it's "co-developed" so it remains to be seen how things will turn out with the new "Mitssan's" which is actually a bit concerning considering that the Mitssan Outlander also has the same notorious Nissan CVT which has plagued the Rogue. It's a huge gamble (to put it lightly) for Mitubishi to switch over to Nissan platforms for the vehicles considering the tailspin Nissan has been in for the past decade as far as quality and reliability goes, even if they are still decent when it comes to looks, that's about all they have left. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bpnCo5KFqq-IY9k

Been looking for a 3rd row SUV to replace my 2011 Durango (she's going strong with 206K miles, so I love her) and came across the Outlander... SO GLAD!!! As a former 1993 Montero owner, I LOVE the Outlander!! It definitely is better than the Palisade and Telluride I was considering but couldn't decide on, and that's bc I was MEANT to have the Outlander!! My heart is swooning ❤❤❤

It’s such a beautiful redesign but completely underpowered 😔. The 1998 Montero was one of the best looking SUV’s ever and it had a great V6 engine!

I love Mitsubishi... I mean they are my favorite and I have been lucky I have owned and driven some of their earlier products .. This needs a non CVT 6 cylinder engine and a performance trim. I wouldnt mind paying 10 more grants to get a performance trim with the red mitsubishi emblem. Again I am glad we are done with the third Outlander generation as it was awful. The first and second ones were rather very neat. RIP Osamu Masuko... It literally took you your life for Mitsubishi to kick back at it again.

Great Video Joe and Lori. I'm still not a fan of the front headlights, I tried but can't. The interior is nice but still don't understand why car companies waste money on paddle shifters for SUV's. Save that money and give me ventilated seats!

If you don't like it for reliability, that is not an issue here. If you don't like it for the fact it is a CVT, your loss.

Great review. Very thorough and balanced. Overall I think its a home run for mitsubishi. Massive step up in every way from the previous version (2017-2021) which I have. The 3rd row is a bit less usable than the previous version but offsetting that the 2nd row folds a bit flatter (still not completely flat) so load capacity is a bit more usable for larger objects.

I really hope Mitsubishi makes a comeback, they've made some great cars in the past starting with the Mitsubishi Starion AKA Chrysler Conquest, Mitsubishi Eclipse, the ultimate all-weather GT car AKA the 3000GT VR4, and of course the Lancer Evo. But getting back to this car oh, I'm so glad you're doing reviews and giving them some attention. I agree the front end overall looks good but I don't like the fake treatment by the hood and the stick on chrome Outlander. And I personally am not a big fan of those Wheels. I generally like either all black or all machine faced Wheels and I've never been a fan of directional Wheels but they're not bad either and they're a good size. You made an excellent point about that rear windshield wiper, they should have tucked that up in the top. To me the icing on the cake is that interior. Whoever designed that did an excellent job. That looks really good and I like that they kept dial Hvac controls. Screens are great but manual control heating and cooling systems are just so much easier to work with and you don't have to take your eyes off the road to feel them. Overall it looks nice both outside and especially inside. I hope Mitsubishi makes a good comeback and thanks for a great video! Also excuse any typos I'm on voice recognition.
