Good commentary! August 11th will air Season 7 Episode 708. MEN IN KILTS also airs Aug.11th. You can watch both shows. New Buck delivers. William grows up in his first battle of war. Roger & Bree realize their kids are special and connected to the stones. Jemmy is kidnapped by Rob Cameron, Bree’s co-worker. Episode 8. 2nd Battle of Saratoga will continue. Roger & Buck go through the stones to find Jemmy, wherever he is. Claire seeks soldiers to help after first Battle of Saratoga. Young Ian and Rachael are holding hands in promo. William mentions he has his eye on Rachael! Can’t wait! Love Diana’s books.

Thank you, Jen, for discussing the shows and books in such details.🤗 I really look forward to your Outlander reviews.😍 I was not into Roger and Bree in the beginning of the books. But, grew to love them as their relationship progressed. I especially love this story line with them and their time in early Scotland. This season the show is packing a lot into each episode. I seem to be holding my breath, to see what happens next. This has been an exciting season for me. Don't know how I am going to wait for the future episodes. Did you say, they are coming next year?! 🤯

Love your reviews like always. Dont have to much to say about this one. I am appreciating that bree and roger are so much more likable for me in the 20th century so far. Even if i found the sex scene awkward. Also amazed they could be that nice to rob just showing up like that.

Thanks for the great commentary Jen. Now Diana has started book 10 I wonder if part of the reason for splitting the show is to see if they can get an idea of how it is going to end so that can be brought into the final episodes of season 8. Also they did a lot of filming around Liverpool for series 7, which I believe doubles for Charleston, so that will be integral to part of the storyline.

Decided to reread the section after jamie gets hurt. Soo spoilers in my comment. Oh boy that scene with Hamish was so touching. I doubt that will get covered, but wanted to point it out just because it really stood out to me. Im really hoping we get to meet Benedict Arnold, and follow jamie for the second battle. See what happens with Simon fraser and set on the path to scotland. Maybe even the incident between william and jamie with the hat?

It is my greatest wish. I feel like there is no other way around it.. it's not just a relative of Black Jack, it's ACTUALLY him and only a few years before Outlander begins.... so I will keep my fingers crossed.

I'm refraining of opening the Outlander books because I'm afraid of being sucked in and won't read anything else 😂 Yeah, Roger and Brianna were so careless with the time travel stuff 🙃 just leaving everything lying around. I feel I like grew up with Claire and Jamie.. and Roger and Brianna are my hypothetical children's age.. so I'm a bit uncomfortable watching them having sex scenes. Reading it in the books is fine, just not into watching them. It's kind of cool how Roger/ Brianna's storyline is going concurrently with Jamie/Claire.. soon they are going to be in the same spaces in different times. Great recap as always Jenn!

The books are just a whole other thing... so addicting. Haha! I know the Roger/Bree steam can be tough for people... I just love seeing people in love, and any on screen sex makes me close my eyes. haha! I can read a gangbang in public and be totally fine... but put it on screen and I'm running. haha!
