We've got to assume Claire lives since she's the one telling this story. The whole thing starts with a monologue of her, telling how it all began and in the books it's still Claire in first person telling her parts. It would end pretty abruptly as soon as her consciousness stops because it's her story. Plus, there's still a whole season to go. How in the world would they do that with no Claire. Jamie would go be reckless in a battle just to get himself killed if Claire died.

Thank you for the reaction it was great. He didn't know the cheese had pennicillin in it it was just a gift , but Claire knew. This was a great episode and i love jamie and Claire 's love story. Thanks again imon 😂❤

Just to let you know there is no new episode this week. The S7 finale is Jan 17. There is a S8. That will be the finale season. They have completed filming it but no word on whether it will be released later this year or next. It will have 10 episodes.

"Written in My Own Heart's Blood" is the title of the 8th book, directly referring to Jamie resigning using his wife's blood. I don't really know what else to say in this comment because I don't want to spoil anything for you. You seem to be doing a good job following everything going on despite the multiple stories happening in different time periods. I think a lot of people are really annoyed with how chaotic this season is.

They had a choice in the writing this half of the season, thinking it was the LAST season. Get in as much of the story as possible, move things along too quickly, or not complete the stories as written so far. They crammed in 1/2 of book 7 , all of 8 & part of 9. I blame Starz for taking so long to decide to give them an 8th season, that the majority of scripts were already written. They had to leave out many storylines & whole groups of characters that played a very important role in the books. Starz will string this out as long as possible, trying to keep everyone subscribed. I do plan to watch the prequel but then I will cancel until a firm date is set for the final season. Starz has nothing else in their catalog that interests me at all.
