It was Brian and his sensitivity and emotions that I found riveting in this scene. That actor is marvelous here! I kept wishing Brianna would show a similar degree of sensitivity, but perhaps it was the weight of what she could not tell him that left her seeming rather awkward.

Loved how they portrayed this part of the book. Brian really does think he has seen Ellen again when meeting Brianna. It also explains why Jocasta could feel the outline of her face and know she belonged to Jamie and was her grand-niece.

Loved this scene & wish that Bree could tell her Grandda who she really was. So heartbreakingly beautiful, I could see it in Brian's face. But why was his hair not Silkie Black?

Too bad Brianna could not tell him she's his granddaughter. This reminds me of Roger finding Jerry and not being able to tell him he was his son. Is Ellen MacKenzie related to Roger Mac?

This wasn’t in the book correct but he does faint upon seeing Brianna and jemmy in the graveyard behind lallybroch near the tower . He thinks she’s Ellen and that jemmy is Jamie’s brother willie that died
