I got my VF8 Plus about 2 weeks ago, and it has been wonderful so far. VF8 has so many high tech features that it can confuse many drivers who have never driven any EV before, but in fact driving a VF8 is quite simple. After hitting the unlock button on the car key, you open the door, sit down and the driving seat automatically adjusts itself to the exact position you have set up, just step on the break as the infotainment screen tells you, and don't forget to press the little button to you right, under the steering wheel to un-park the EV (the red word PARK on the screen will go away). That's it. Now you just hit the button R (return) or D (drive). Vinfast ADAS is the feature I love the most. When you are on freeway if you want to use Vinfast ADAS, just hit the little ADAS button to you right on the steering wheel once the VF8 reaches the speed you want, for example 65 miles/hour, and the ADAS in green and blue color with the desired speed will show up on HUD (Head-Up Display), and the EV will take over the drive. All you do now is just sit relax enjoy behind the steering wheel and touch the wheel when asked. If you want to adjust the ADAS speed, just hit the up (+) or down (-) button right above and below the ADAS button. The EV will automatically follow the same speed or stop as the car in front of you does. If there's no car in front of you, the EV will speed up by itself and keep the same speed you have set. Remember whenever you step on the brake, ADAS will no longer work, and notice that the ADAS sign on HUD will become gray. Just hit the RES (Resume) button on the steering wheel to resume ADAS, and the ADAS sign on HUD will be in green and blue color. With a 65% battery (from 80% down to 15%), the VF8 plus carrying one person at the speed of 70 miles/hour can go roughly 175 miles during the normal weather temperature with about 20 miles uphill and downhill. It took 56 minutes to charge from 14% to 90% at an Electrify America supercharge station, and it had cost me $39.20 during the peak hours (between 4:00 PM-9:00 PM) at $0.56/kWh. If outside the peak hours, it would cost $0.48/kWh. Filling up a gas tank of a similar mid-size ICE SUV would cost me over $100. On average to lease the VF8 Plus, I pay roughly $10/day with a 3 year lease to own term after my old car trade in and a $200 deposit. I love my VF8 Plus.

The car body and chassis remain intact after the accidents. Meanwhile, the other vehicles are nearly destroyed and heavily damaged. It can be a game changer, not about the price. But when consider the leasing deal, the warranty 10 years bumper to bumper, unlimited miles for battery. It is really a game changer compare with Tesla or Huyndai that normally 4 - 5 years

OOS & Francie did it again, a rock solid interview with Judy and Larry, the real owner experience with the VinFast VF8. @JudyMoneta -- Judy, you and Francie are my new heroes! I love when you said that you enjoy driving the VF8 and always look for reasons to drive it everyday. I am doing exactly the same, always asking my wife and my sons if I can take them anywhere on my VF8 -- go shopping or go to eat. Everyone in my family likes this car, especially my wife. Tomorrow is my one year anniversary with my VinFast EV and I still get a thrill-like adrenaline rush each time I enter the car. I am in Sacramento, CA, and my VF8 is also Neptune Grey, with Navy Blue interior. The car is still looking brand new and I never missed a day from driving it. Yes, just like you and Larry said, the glitches were there sometimes but that never affect the car from driving like a normal vehicle. I also let many neighbors and strangers check out my VF8 just like you did with yours. You’re a kind and positive person, and yours and Larry’s interview with Francie is very valuable to the public and very much appreciated by me, and I am sure many others as well. BTW, we lived in Raleigh 1995-1997 while I worked for The N&O as a news-graphic journalist, and we bought our very first American home in the Neuse Crossing area, northeast from downtown.

It won't drive like a race car, doesn't go 0 to 60 in 3 seconds, it doesn't handle well when I put it into extreme driving situations. As far as I am concerned it's just trash talk. The average driver is interested in does it get me from point A to point B reliably. You folks have done a good sharing the reliably of the Vinfast even though glitchy and demonstrated the differences in the owners experiences. After doing due diligence I bought a 2014 Leaf in 2016. I gave a neighbor a ride in the Leaf and he was so impressed he bought a Mustang Mach E4. If you're not up for the adventure, don't. Francie, I think you will enjoy the the home charging station.
