Love the pod! Hope you guys accept constructive criticism: I think it would be nice to have some kind of “signal” that transitions talking to ad bits. Sometimes there is no distinction between real talk vs what is paid advertisement until the end of ad when there’s a code provided for example. Also to add, when ads are constructed as just a conversation (like the ticket ad) it makes it seem super disingenuous.

Yes!! Getting annoying

Totally agree with this! On Shandy’s pod, they have the ad on the bottom of the screen too with the code and I find that helpful if I’m interested in the ad and also understand it’s the ad segment.
@madelynnmikki9 ай бұрын
Yes!! I love the pod, but they’ll start talking about something random that doesn’t make sense with the flow of conversation, and it’s confusing as a listener. If they would just state at the beginning that it’s an ad, it would make so much more sense. I just listened to the latest episode today and they didn’t take the advice :( maybe they recorded before reading this comment. I hope they take this advice. It’s a great podcast, just needs some tweaking! :)
@HeyTiki9 ай бұрын
@@madelynnmikki exactly! Ahh, I haven’t listened yet. Well, I mean it’s their podcast so they can do whatever but also it would be nice to disclose more clearly. Not to mention FTC laws became more strict recently about disclosing ads but for me it’s just personal annoyance lol

I'm with Deepti! I recently married my soulmate! It's such a hard thing to express and get people to understand, I always say to people you just have to experience it for yourself.

I really enjoyed this conversation! I understood both points but I really loved Deepti’s point of view im also very spiritual as well . We as a society have believed we need physical evidence. But the truth is we don’t everything is energy.

This episode was so funny and thought provoking at the same time! I feel like I’m more aligned with Natalie on the soulmate thing, even though I’m in a great long-term relationship, but I’m also open to Deepti’s perspective and agree there’s a lot we can’t explain. Also, as an Indian American girl myself who’s always had lots of East Asian friends, this podcast makes me feel so represented and like hanging I’m out with friends so thank you both for that ❤️

A soul mate is someone who you’ve never met but they feel so familiar as though you’ve known them before. A person that you’ve had a karmic connection with - so the relationship can be golden or toxic based on the karma attached to the relationship. (My definition)

Yes!! When I met my partner I thought I already knew him from before even though factually I never seen him. The air just felt... light and familiar.

Hey folks. I have been listening to your podcast and basically have really enjoyed your coverage of LIB. But why aren't you covering the International versions? I have really enjoyed, and would like to hear your comments about them. I am way less interested in hearing about housewives or any of those other reality series. Can you please cover Sweden, Japan, and Brazil? Thanks. -- an LIB addict :)

I believe a soulmate is 1 singular person that you’re meant to be with. You have a deep connection & romantic relationship. It’s intensely special so multiple people can’t be your soulmate. You can have lifetime friends or significant friendships/ relationships , but that doesn’t make your bff, sister or family member your soulmate.
@MariahBethea6 ай бұрын
I believe certain people come into our life for a reason but not every one stays. But I do believe if it’s meant to be you may find your way back to the one you may have needed to separate in order to come back together.

Omg I think exactly the same way Natalie thinks about soulmates. That’s it. When things get complicated, people just quite the relationship. But it’ll always be difficult at some points
@macymiller34179 ай бұрын
Thats modern day society for us. Too many ppl don’t want to work with anyone else. A soul mate doesn’t equal free of complications.

NP here. Honestly cotton brief underwear (grannie panties) are healthier for you. Thongs are not healthy for females. Makes you more prone to infections yeast etc.

I've literally told my friends that I see life completely as a probability calculation. People get so freaked out when I tell them I don't believe in anything at all. I'm also on the same page with Natalie about the soulmates thing. Some people just happen to be extremely compatible with you. But it's rare to find them just like that 'in the wild'. And sometimes you grow together with a person, making them more compatible with you over time.

I feel like a soulmate is just someone who is a mirror image of your soul. You have the same exact beliefs, lifestyle, morals, ideals, personality traits, etc. Doesn’t mean you’re supposed to end up romantically together because a lot of people can’t date someone who is exactly like them. But chances are with so many people in the world over the course of it’s existence I’d guess there’s probably someone out there at one time who came close enough to being just like you.

Natalie, you seemed to have had either twin or karmic flames. Assuming past lives are real, a karmic connection means you had a toxic connection with this person before and are repeating it. A twin flame is someone who you have an intense connection with and they pass on positive lessons for you. As for soulmates, yes, you hit the nail on the head that this is supposed to be someone who remains with you for the rest of your life, and you've had many if not all lives with them. Friends can be soulmates as well. There's a concept called Soul Tribe if you attract the right community. I've had this and it was very beautiful. I'm just trying to get my lazy ass to commute to downtown Toronto again to see likeminded people after covid lol. Also my best friend is my cousin, we are the same age and have the same star sign, our Moon signs are opposite to each other's which indicates balancing each other out on that end, we don't have to explain too much to each other to understand the other, we even rephrase each other's point to people who just take things word for word rather than seeing body language and watching out for tone, we even have the same taste in music and other pop culture things, the same political views, and the compliments we give each other were things we both aspire to be so we influence each other really well. She is truly my soulmate. I am so blessed that we are related in the 3D. I've been lucky on the soulmate end of things.

The idea of SOULMATES can be very damaging - you can end up in an unhealthy relationship but believing you "should" stay together or try harder because you gave a massive meaning to how you met and things that connected you. It can be a fast train to self-gaslighting not because the other person may be so amazing but because of the meaning we create out of this belief system! It gives us big pink glasses.
@macymiller34179 ай бұрын
I like the idea of soulmates but the idea that you can have multiple. I think the damaging part at least in my personal opinion is believing theres only one person. That can gaslight yourself into staying in very unhealthy relationships. I believe you can have soulmate connections with an array of people. If you only have one soulmate whats the probability that they live near you? How are you expected to meet that one person out of 7-8 billion? Soul mates is a hard concept.
