I cut gem rock. Cutting wood only once in a while. This is the most beautiful walnut I have ever seen too. This is part of why people cut things open. Ya just never know what is inside. I have said many times, I never met a rock I didn't want to cut. Ok, that isn't all true. Just like wood, the cutter needs to read the material you are fixin to cut. Thanks for sharing this work of natural art. What is that background music. Caught myself singing like a hound dawg along with it.

It took me 61 years to realize that the most important plant for mankind are trees, we made our houses with it, we made all of our furniture, wheels, tools, weapons, ...I could go on and on for a long time, plus they produce oxygen for us to breathe and money for so many generation of lumberjacks, truckers, artists.....just...AMAZING. And I just love to see people that appreciate them like you and people that comment on the beauty of wood. I was also wondering how much a 9 foot slab of 8/4 normally sell for, and how much these special slabs would go for? Thanks and please continue!

Out in your area or on any old homestead you might find some incredibly tall overgrown pie cherry trees. These , much like the black walnut, are also incredibly beautiful to mill down. Not to take away from that double crotched walnut you did in the video. My brain was on overload with all the possibilities for this wonderfully grained lumber. Keep up the great work
