When u use that mill put shims in after every 10"s of cut in between layers to hold up on the wood and not generate heat friction that will wear down ur band blade and have something to run the blade through to keep it cool so the hardness of the teeth will stay. Best advice I can give other than that keep up the good work

Mister- You displayed one of the “Absolute Videos” I’ve ever seen on KZbin. You took the time and didn’t rush anything you did. I used chainsaws and a great 31 ton log splitter fo almost 25 years back in Wayne Co. and Monroe Co. NY. There’s just something about felling trees and the smell of fresh cut wood. You either like it or you don’t. That wood you cut was “gorgeous”. I cut down a huge “curly maple” once. A wood worker took it immediately and made some great furniture from it. I’ll be looking for more of your videos. Thank You for putting them on for us..

great video, and oh man. what a beautiful sight when you opened it up. Im always amazed at the treasures to be found inside some very plain wrappers. An old friend, gone now, rest his soul, was a stone cutter and gem polisher. He would often in his off days just cut into plain looking rocks ,to see what was inside. often just a plain rock, but occasionaly, unbelievable visions . Some of the most incredible scenes that one could swear had been painted by a master artist. It always reinforced that age old saying, "Never judge a book by its cover"

I’ve never seen wood look so pretty like that. I watch a lot of wood working videos and while part of me is like “that would look good as this that or the other” it’s almost pretty enough just to frame. Bet that would make a gorgeous wood + resin table, though.

Would you say it gives you wood? It is a beautiful slab without a doubt and I can't see anything wrong with people appreciating natural art. It certainly beats loving heroin and cocain.

Selling slabs like this will retain the natural beauty of nature. Absolutely beautiful wood. Thank you for sharing. It will get repurposed and last forever instead of firewood. 🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏼👏🏼

I once bought a fixer-upper-grandma house born in 1908 in Houlton Maine. There was a cut-and-sanded walnut plank in the dungeon (er, basement). I used it for a shelf above my new sink when remodeling the bathroom. Walnut smells heavenly to me, so I didn''t ever stain it. A touch of water, sniff, and have a good mood.

I'm still amazed how many people don't know they can load "Shazam" on their cell phone, hold it up while the song is playing, and it tells you "I go Blind" by The Eastern Plain (Featuring Frigga) from their album/CD "Another Go Round."
