After getting along with the release version of the game im feeling confident now in recommending these are the things that you need to know to get going in Outpost: Infinity Siege.
Command Mobile Outpost and take XEN Firearm to venture deep into the Signet surveillance off-limit area. Collect unique Weapon Units. Amp up the firepower of the Outpost that fights with you. This is a FTD game - FPS, Tower Defence Base Building and much more all at the same time

Some additional tips: - The magnetic puzzle awards more power the longer the ball traveled before hitting the device. Throwing it in an arc has rewarded me up to 44 power - Don't stop the basketball puzzle until the timer runs out. Every hoop you throw is converted into power for the base - The power bank does reward the full amount even if you leave the mission - Don't sell anything from the warehouse. Later there will be deals to trade in those valuable items - if you want to make money, pick up the cards that give you X% gold equal to the value of your materials/valuables in the extraction crate. Easily made 100k on snow 4

My biggest tip is that it’s good to thoroughly explore the map each time you see it first. Often there are hidden bunkers that have decent loot. Also, one of the snow maps has a hidden research lab which has more loot than you can carry, and tons of super rare items.

Selling certain items is a bad move later on when you have the several merchants unlocked... eg, 5 desert eagle golden guns can be traded for 1 'battleship' heavy artillery gun... worth way more than the comparatively measly credits value.

true but this video was aimed at getting people going, early on that cash can be used to great effect in further arming the outpost, later on there are easy credit farms and things can be saved for trading

Saving the items early is a way better tip and telling people to sell them is actually detrimental. I didnt know about the merchants amd sold everything and when they came to base I could have gotten items I needed and had sold all my valuables already

@@KenetorTV its random and its a side merchant. Doesnt have the same stuff and he trades for different valuables each time. Can also get gear as well with components or valuables. Looking for that exact deal in a randomized trade with many different combinations and not finding it in 9 days isnt uncommon. Ive spent years trying to win a lottery and never get those number combinations right haha. I also come from playing games like monster hunter where hoarding materials is the norm since I dont like to go back and farm things lol.

If you have the power converter you can feed it trees and get 100% of the energy back from cutting down trees and feeding it logs. 3 logs = 6 power, and takes 6 power to cut the large tree. But you also get material for each tree you cut down so you can end up with more power than you started with if you use the material conversion from the tower or generators. But this is a slow process. It's better to go fast check all the buildings then see if you need a shot of power or materials when leaving rather than min maxing each level.

While the tip about Fae's skills is good, you could've also mentioned that his skills stack insanely well when used with the Refill Xen morph, letting you reload turrets using your skill without using any ammo. This also goes for the Mend Xen Booster that lets you repair stuff. Oh and, the Snow area recovery day mission has a loot house down by the beach that can spawn nice loot, and there's a tower next to the free mine launcher that has a terminal puzzle and a remote control turret on it.

I have yet to get a refill drop :( all through testing we told them increase the xen drop rate, its still too low and now we can reforge too it definitely needs more

i heard its good to keep some of those valuable collectables instead of selling them since u can trade them for higher tier things. i personally havent done this as im not at endgame yet

You can change out the skills as well at the buffs. I changed one out today for from a rare to a red one.

so we unlock the first mission in the snow area and we got rekt what do you suggest we do ? increasing our outpost is the obvious thing but energy and ressource seem to go out pretty fast

each jump to a new area can be pretty rough, especially if your base isnt ready, farm up and get more weapons, research to make your base platform bigger, bigger base = more space for guns! The game has alot of farming! if you want a shortcut, then join a city 5 mission in multiplayer and get 200k+ of credits and by some stuff from the shop

you can use the electromagnetic plug instead of a battery to open a door that need a battery just stick the plug to the console and throw the ball

Glad you will find them useful! it hasnt taken off for so many reasons, devs are VERY green, no community management, very little PR know how, didnt give any creators pre access to help with content and hype, also pissed off a 4mil sub creator. on top of that it had a very buggy launch as it hit too early, story is trash, voice acting is worse ive heard in a game, we STILL have Chinese text in various parts of the game. I tested this alot before launch, my very first video was made from the public first test and i said this was gonna be awesome, but as we can now see it a great game hobbled by fresh devs who are out of the depth. im still trying to find the magic the first test had, the multiplayer in this game is very bad, lobbies take forever to load or just crash, this may also have something to do with it lol

Is there any way to do any character creation? Or least edit the ones you get? And not a big deal, but far as the video goes adding chapters about each "tip" would be nice to be able to come back to or share a point with a friend. Just something that might help the channel and make some peoples lives a bit better. Oh, can you change the color of your main gun? Not a deal breaker for me to try the game. But would be nice to not have a bright white rifle. x.x Edit: And other question, any way to not spam ammo making all day? I seen a video and 90% of the his time I swear was opening and crafting whole ammo cans.

chapters kill retention which stops youtube sharing the video, its fine on longer vids but stuff like this, it probably would have never shown you the video by now. you cant colour your gun and there is no character creation, your are this 1 guy or you can play as one of the 4 other characters from each "team" ammo is the life blood of the game, sadly the automatic ammo crafter doesnt come until MUCH later in the game and even then needs alot of support to use it effectively in a base

Its a bit better since launch they have post d about new content coming too but they keep changing stuff all the time ors frustrating to recommend since it keeps changing, if you dont mind jank and grind then yes id recommend

@@KenetorTV Ah, thanks again for the reply. Will have to see if my friends that play Tarkov would be into this. Never cared for the PVP side of that game but a PVE risk reward I'd be down for. Another video said it takes a while to unlock and your friends only get their own inv rewards vs whatever you drop in the base. Happen to play around with that at all? And for what it's worth take my sub sir.

@@wolfhunter98 yes for some reason they locked multiplayer behind progress, mostly because it can break progress a little, but multiplayer is alot of fun on endless and is the real endgame to see how long you last :) but you can get some very good rewards that you wouldnt otherwise get till later if you can last in there. another thing to note is the story and voice acting is sadly DIRE levels of awful. but risk reward is the name of the game and i have died a few times to greed even with all my testing experience lol

Skill XEN's are NOT in there for good, you can switch them out for other Skills, you have to click on the main skill xen and then you can change it just like buffs

in the context of removing xens you have put in or found on a core gun, they cannon be removed only replaced. But as a beginner, there wont be any good skills to swap out, so trying new ones that come with different guns is a good way to get started and you wouldnt waste skill xen on low level guns anyway!

@@KenetorTV They arent consumable though, you get the one that you swap, so you can keep using them in different guns. If you you get a better core gun you can swap a low level skill in and get what you had in there out to swap into the better core
