as you progress through the wall the car at the garage will upgrade to having armoured doors and panels which you can remove with the liberator and repair and add to your car for free upgrades even if you have not unlocked them yet.

ive only found 2 cars so far with armoured panels, both were before i got the liberator, looking forward to getting my hands on them!

@@pilsner2930 when you go to the inner zone they will rng armour plated panels and doors on the car you salvage at the garage it's how i kitted my entire car out with armour plated without it being unlocked :)

Progress through the wall? Do you mean explore more of the map? I started finding armored vehicles in the third and forth areas I went to, during the first "take another drive" objective.

Few tips of mine to add: - You can rebind the "transfer all resources"-key to E so you just press E to open a container and the same key to loot it. Very convenient - Friendly dumpsters most often spawn near gas stations so check those out for sweet loot - you can tell if you have scanned something already by the square next to the name if its filled out or not - a lighning rod makes your car immune to most electrical damage and my favorite - side rack fuel tanks or batteries are nice but its much more effective to build side storage and fill it up with fuel cans and extra batteries (if you can afford them). Bit more micromanagement to swap things out evey now and then but it gives you like 6x the fuel capacity and 3x the battery capacity.

Man that repaired station IV passed so many times thinking it was a fuel station lol there is also green glowing tree with speakers that Heals the car aswell but not as much as this station thanks

there is actually 2 versions of it, I forgot to mention, one is just a recharge station and one is repair! Great tip on the green speaker anomaly, I've always steered clear of it!

These videos are more important now than ever, as Pacific Drive leaves a lot of things unexplained, and other things can only be understood by scanning and reading the journal entries or sometimes only by a lot of experimenting or finding videos like this. Don't get me wrong, I love that this game has done away with a lot of the hand-holding. It makes those "Oh, THAT'S how that works!" or Oh, damn, I didn't realize I could do that!" moments so much more rewarding and cool!

Some anomalies can recharge your battery or heal you. The green bouncing bunnies can be picked up and thrown at your car if they miss you and get stuck nearby. Nice video thanks for the info

Here is a tip: Sometimes car gets weird quirks that can be repaired at the thinker station.. BUT What if it’s actually super useful quirk? For example the most useful quirk would be a parking device. What I mean by that is IF LEFT DOOR CLOSES/OPENS THEN GEARBOX TOGGLES! That would be indeed a very useful quirk which basically gives you auto parking device without actually equipping it. If you find any other useful quirks do tell me.

I play on Playstation 5 is their any way to go back and fourth between backpack and trunk with a button click. I have to constantly have to use the Analog and hold it over till I get to the other side of the screen it's annoying. I feel like the UI for this game isn't very Controller friendly

The clip boards you can also just read as you pick them up and then drop them. So not sure why you need to keep them even for the fax.

Some of the things I don't understand are the conditions. There are things like Curious fragility, turncoats, and other things. What is a turncoat in terms of this game

once discovered these should be in your log book curious fragility for example means you get more damage from collisions. but check your log after you have gone through them!

If you run out of deluxe edition decals, they will just re-appear at the paint shelf. Hope this helps!

@HeathBlythe If you buy the deluxe edition of the game, or buy a separate pack you get two decal kits which can be applied to all parts of the car, to change their appearance. You can check it out in your store of choice by looking for the "We have liftoff" DLC.

most of the times parts come off because of damage, some can be put back on, or if it was destroyed you need to use another panel to replace, the car only has panels and doors and its not a door :) same if you wanna replace it, you can take it off manually to put a better part on

paint and decals are done from the paint rack, left of the car as pulled into the driveway. steering wheels, stickers, and other addons are done via a different machine you need to unlock and place next to the paint rack. hope this helps!

they are a rarer find, look inside buildings with the metal cabinets that are sometimes locked, i find them most there. this is why i included tip 6 which i am still abusing to save on putty lol

Yep How can you give tips while playing a Driving game without a controller? I just replaced me old worn our Dualshock 4 with a brand new Dualsense haptic triggers are fucking awesome. The Game is optimized for the both Sony controller. Second tip ALLWAYS take a bunch of flares, light them up & toss them et them creepy tourists not only will they kaboom save, PLUS drop sometimes plastic & them !!!crystals!!! u need in order 2 craft the Liberator. 3 and last for now ACTIVATE High VISIBILITY loot in the Settings! Thanks to that all me lockers & the mobile trunk are filled to the brim, i don't even have to repair anything cuz i simply craft them parts new & toss the old one in the shredder.

im not too fussed about using a controller, its personal preference, its not track driving so a keyboard works just fine. the tourists never seem to drop anything for me! i wish they did give me those crystals! i got most of mine from the pearls and dumpster!

That's why you need high visibility loot enabled! Cuz the tourists explode & violently eject plastic & the red crystals (not every single tourist drops loot upon explosion) Therefore take a full stack of flares the next mission (or just loot trunks) & fully charge ur LIT flare at a bunch of them the more close by the better cuz higher drop chance. I have already 74 crystals in in me stash & 2 liberators on the car. Some tourists are different & glow red(chest) i think those have them crystals inside them & if you line up your LIT flare toss right you will trigger a few at once to explode. Some explode in a chain reaction even if only one is triggered im not sure why yet. Those who spawn next to a Anchor (after you picked the energy up) give me always at least 1-2 crystals BUT again loot is violently ejeckted very hard to spot in the foliage therefore turn UP HIGH VISABILITY in the settings. BTW, seriously try out a DualSense controller from a friend or something. Im telling you the feeling is outstanding the triggers have a dynamic resistance range allowing you to "feel" the road & give you a control of the vehicle perfectly. With a keyboard you either give full throttle & bake strength or non. With the DualSense triggers you have always full control to give as much throttle/brake as you need/want. This of course will make you go much more fuel efficient & will stop you from destroying your tires.
