It is the same location for a 2004 Honda Accord EX 3.0l V6. If anyone is wondering. I got code P0721. I will be buying the new sensor today and hopefully this helps with my shifting problems/transmission slipping.

Note this video only applies to pre 2007 Acura TLs . For 2007 and beyond the sensors are located on the Front of the transaxle and accessed from underneath the vehicle.

Hi, have a question, have you ever been in touch with a aut gearbox from a vw caravelle(Europe) or California in the US ? I have a 2006 vw caravelle 2.5tdi 174hp with a JAC transmission and it went from bad to BAD in a couple of weeks after gearbox oil change. At first it shifted poorly with a knock between gears. And after oil change it didnt change gears upwords at all... Now its in limp mode(R works!)? After diagnostics its shows an error code p0721 "impausible Signal" Output speed sensor CIRC: range/performance"... Could a single sensor cause such problems? PS! after revving from start it can jump to 5th gear and lock on it ?! Would be amazing to hear from other ppl whos struggeling with the same problem. It could be a faulty solenoid body, but since it doesnt engage "engine light" so i doubt it.... Many thanks from everybody who has any info about the gearbox ;) Br:Sten

Your best bet is using a multi meter that can read live data. I've been using this one - amzn.to/2MAIKQj

Pls help me. !!! I have a Fiat Punto 2011 dualogic.I have p0720 fault code at "only and always" 130 km/h speed. When the car is under 120 km/h code (warning) is disappearing.i changed the oss 2 times and complete gearbox, transmission fluid. Still same problem. :(What do u think? Where should i look to fix it? Why always at 130 km/h ??

isn`t the input shaft speed sensor on that case? just asking because in case of ford fusion 2.5, the output shard speed sensor seems to be a cord sensor that goes inside transmission...

Please help i want to determine whats wrong with my car , 2012 vw tiguan wont engage i have only 1 code p0271 would this code prevent it from engaging i put it on drive nothing happens the engine rev but the car wont move i checked the leankage and its good i can even see the leaver move i have no reverse also .

'04-'08 Acura TL BGDA transmission. If you do a drain and fill they take 3 qts DW-1. When checking trans fluid in a Honda automatic- get it to operating temperature switch off the engine and within one minute check it. If it's between the two holes on the dipstick you're ok.

how about putting a description of what vehicle you are working on so when some one sees speed sensor they dont waste their fucking time finding out you title has nothing to do with what they are looking for like me for a 3500
