The cost of renting or buying a house have skyrocketed all across America. Even the cost of renting an apartment have risen to too much to be believed. The poor and lower middle class don't stand a chance

I agree, it has to stop. Has to. They want ridiculous amounts of money for a shit box with a kitchen out of 1985. Basic flooring, cheap, low end cabinetry, just garbage, basic model stuff and they want you to pay thru the nose for it. They shouldn't be allowed to get away with it, not at these prices. And before anyone comes at me with the it's a sellers market speech, I understand all of that but come on. who would part with their money for a cheaply thrown together dump , especially if it is in a bad or not so great part of town. Be smart with your money, just because that is what they are asking and it's a sellers market does not mean I am going to give it to them. They can whistle zip a dee doo da out of their backside before that would happen. HELL NO.

Super, you should take a look at Williston North Dakota. During the oil boom a few years ago North Dakota, especially Williston went crazy building giant luxury apartment complexes. They are beautiful and so many are sitting there empty right now. After everyone left the apartments were just left vacant. Management is offering incentives like 3 months rent free. A 3 bedroom 2 full bath with a washer and dryer is about $800 a month and cheaper. The apartments have all the amenities you could ask for. I found some 1 bedroom with 1000 square footage for less than $500 a month. They have so many apartments sitting empty they are desperate. Look on one of those apartments apps. Only downside is it’s North Dakota and it gets cold 🥶 I just looked and 1 apartment complex has 68 available units! I’m just putting it out here, if anyone is tired of that blazing Arizona sun you can live in North Dakota for half or more of what your paying in rent. Most are already furnished to. Beautiful and modern.

Predatory practices by big investment companies and independent landlords will eventually bite them back because no one can afford these rentals prices on Arizona wages. Foreclosures will start happening. This trend has been going on in Cali and why people are leaving. These corporate giants are purchasing anything in the Sunbelt states. A lot of these companies are outside the United States. These companies own multiple apartments, mobile home parks, and houses nationwide. I'm sure they also have their hands in strip malls as well so small businesses will feel this as well. Counting the next few years from them to go belly up.

To rent a similar place in Tampa you would need at least 5,000 to 10,000 move in costs. Wow I wish I could find s place as nice as this one. West Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale probably 5,000 to 10,000 a month.

I made a comment on the heat here in Fresno CA last year. Someone said I should try 119. The thing I find funny, is that I lived in the hottest desert in the world in 1979 and 1981. It was an unofficial high in July 1981 of 137 degrees. I guess, all things considered, I've already felt 119 and higher. I'll pass, as I didn't enjoy it in 1981, but I'd love a break from the smoke we've had for two years straight. Yuck. I've been to Arizona and thought after the monsoons, it was quite humid. Love your vlogs!

I hear a lot of people say that California is expensive. And that is true. But there are still affordable places in Cali. And some of them are actually nice. I am renting a 5 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 car garage, and very large backyard for $1979. It was $1650 when I moved in, in 2019. Once I leave, I'm sure it will be far above $2000. The house is not bad in appearance, although it might be one of the worst in the neighborhood. But the neighborhood and most of the town that I have seen takes excellent care of their yards and homes. I do love the town and the neighborhood. But for reasons I wanted to move, and found out that I would be renting a not so nice 2 bedroom apartment for almost what I am paying for a large home. I have checked other states and have not been seeing the deals that others proclaim to find. I am still in one of the cheaper areas of California. I am honestly surprised that crime is not higher than it is.
