Pay attention to the skill descriptions. All of the ammo replenishment talents say X% in your magazine. Not X% magazine capacity. So, if you have 10 rounds left, you get 5 with vampiric mag. Just saying.

If feed the flames is available every 10 seconds and it procs the class skill for 45% bonus damage why use overheat? Does the 35% bonus from overheat stack? Thank you for the answer im running this build with ash blast currently

FYI mods that you unlock can be passed to other characters by slapping it on a junk item and transferring though your stash. Got a Fortress on one guy but need it for another? No need to farm another Deathshield. Just put it on a random blue weapon and you're good.

Hmm honest besides Damage nothing else counts in this game, diversity yes but for late game no, TTK and speed is paramount, besides devastator all Klasses are kind of equal. Kill Fast kill faster is the main of the game, Diversifying build in Endgame isn’t valuable specially when you run at a timer. Idee of the game is great and fun, loot is plenty loop is fun and engaging but Diversity isn’t.

What about the bullet absorption(I) mod? It refills your magazine while using the feed the flames skill, making that skill even better. Also with Wide grip (I) and/or flame gripper (III) you can hit 2, 3 or 4 targets depending on how you want to do it, giving you even more HP and more ammo.

Love the detail that you give when explaining the best ways to spend your class points. I wish the pyromancer could be more powerful relying more on burn damage and overall skill damage. All the most efficient pyromancer builds I’ve seen so far involve volcanic rounds. I’d rather just kill enemies with fire instead of shooting them

I used this build all the way from CT1 to CT12 and it was pretty good. Sadly once I hit CT12 it was like running into a brick wall and I had to switch to an anomaly build bc this one just stopped putting out the damage I needed. Still stuck on CT12 but I’ve more than doubled my damage running the bottom tree anomaly build.

You missed a way to reload your weapon's Volcanic ammo. There's the Feed the Flames (FtF) tier 1 talent, Bullet Absorption, that reloads 33% of your weapon's magazine for each FtF tendril(?) that you release when you activate the skill. So combine this with FtF's Wide Grip for a 66% reload or a 99% reload with the Flame Grasper mod from the Legendary Waistcloth of the Reforged armor set that give you 2 extra tendrils when activating FtF.

I feel like I have to mention something you explained wrong in this video. When it comes to pyro's healing, the game specifically says "you will recover health whenever enemies marked by your skills are killed." This does not mean that you yourself have to get the kill, and I have seen it work myself. My son and I play this game together and I always get health back even when he kills my marked enemies. You may have already figured this out by now as I realize this video was made a month ago, but there ya go. Might be helpful to know.

Okay so I want to make sure that I understand this correctly the reason why you don't want status Powers because status power makes burn last longer which in turn takes longer to proc the ash am I correct because that's the only reason I could think of as to why you would not want status power considering status power increases the amount of time they are ashed. I'm also confused on why you're choosing close range instead of long range damage. Personally I chose this class so that I didn't have to be right in their face anymore like I do with the trickster. I've got an expedition 14 built around long distance and status power... How far have you made it with this build?

I am fully maxed on CT15 with this build. The issue with Pyro and long range is that the skills don't really reach out that far. It is designed to at medium to close ranges.

Does status power make burn last longer? The info on the game actually states that burn, toxic and bleed do more damage based on status power % and ash and freeze have their length increased. It seems like there's not much value for Pyro, because the burn never really does much damage and slightly longer Ash isn't really going to make or break the build, but I don't think it actually makes the burn to ash cadence longer.

Prolly the best video I've watched for a build. I have a question on your 5 pieces what did you go for? Like 3 firepower and 2 anomoly or vise versa? I think that's where I'm stuck I have a health piece but to me health doesnt seem to matter its the armor that matters

Try for all of your gear pieces to have bonus firepower. Your sustain is achieved through the gear mods. For this build, I was going for bonus firepower, close range damage and cooldown reductions on all my pieces. LMK if you need any further help!

I'm pretty confused on your remarks about Conflagration. The skill, and even you say it's a defensive item the makes you resist 15% of piercing. However, you then go into how Volcanic Rounds work and act as if it helps with that. If it's a defensive skill, how could it possibly help our Volcanic Rounds do damage? In looking skin deep, it would appear the extra ash time would be more helpful.

Conflagration doesn't give you resistance, it makes your bullets pierce through mobs' resistances 👍

I got rid volcanic rounds in favor of an inflicting burn every one second, pair this up that inflicts explosion on crit every few seconds and the mobs will run. Helpful on a boss as well.

Then I am a big destiny player played since destiny one played the division of the division one so I’m very familiar with the build but this game is very confusing I don’t understand it there’s way too much freedom there’s like seven things on every piece that could be modified or upgraded and you have to synergize every piece I just can’t get it I haven’t even attempted yet to modify or level of anything because I don’t know what I’m doing way too many perks way too many attributesSo I’ll simply just continue to put on whatever is the highest level gear and just use it like that which means I won’t get any good rewards because I probably won’t ever be able to complete any of the times expeditions I don’t get these games why do they make certain things so difficult

I finished the story mode at 27 and the leveling has gotten slow. I am specced into Tempest and the boom time is nice. However, the burn is short lived and I feel like a glass cannon. Going to try this out, but not hopeful it will work since I haven’t unlocked a lot of tier two mods

I use toxic rounds and the toxic refill mod Works perfectly to keep my ammo up. I use ash breaker aswell and overheat Thinking about swapping of overheat for feed the flame. Another cool synergy you forgot to mention is that when you have Incinerate and use volcanic rounds Then use overheat you suck up There burn status and apply Ash to them :)

My advice would be to add captain hunter into here too, for a flat 25% elite damage increase. Really helps with those mobs of Alphas.

So with volcanic rounds I use the mod bullet absorption which gives 33% of your mag back from each enemy that is marked its waaaay better the momentum one in my opinion

It give you extra armor and resistance for kills not marking them think you miss spoke but great vid I run a Pyro myself

My build was very close to this, still found great things to consider - also consider replacing crematorium with bone shrapnel for a bit more bleed and bloody explosions!

Yes, they weren't nerfed, just the timer was increased for cooldown.

Now if I’m missing some mods what’s the best way to farm items to try to get the mods I need for this build?

You want purples for tier 2 mods. So could do some easier exp farming say tier 12 or 13. Do 2 or 3 runs and scrap all weapons unless you like em

Monster hunts plus you get the tier 3 mods from the legendary.

Yes. The only real change was the longer cooldowns for the volcanic rounds and the nerf to the vulnerable mechanics from 25% down to 15%. It will still rip up content with the right mods and gear.

Love the breakdown. Been farming for the anomoly build but it's so tough to start. Think rocking some firepower build to grab that other gear is probably the smart move at this point
