i remember playing this in the arcade, and when back home grabbing the old sega genesis from the attic to play the orinigal outrun.. good times. nice review :)

I never played any game in this series except the first one, and that I only played on the Master System. They added some really cool features in this one! Great review, brother.

Just got an rgh Xbox 360 and this was one of the first titles I grabbed. Love this game. I also have The Chihiro version on my 128mb OG Xbox. This game is always fun for quick play through. Edit: I also loved the 8bit version of Toto's Hold the Line.

Sweet vid...I didn't even know this was a port of the Coast 2 Coast game! The only reason why that game is so pricey on Xbox OG is because it runs in 480i unlike the PS2 version. That and online play, which doesn't matter anymore anyways. Love the idea for this series.

Honestly, you're just wearing them to avoid memorizing lines? ;) I don't know if those racing locations are generic, but that's definitely Diamond Head on the coastal race. It's the same mountain behind me when I was holding my Shining Force box. I like racing games, but I suck at them pretty hardcore! That girl looks so annoying! Keep your arms and feet within the vehicle and stay in your seat! Who punches the freaking driver????

I've always enjoyed OutRun music. Yeah that mountain is a direct picture of a famous volcanic crater near Waikiki. It's iconic for Hawaii among the Japanese. LOL, oh the glasses are a coverup? That's a good reason too! :)

Automatic is for plebs! And this is why I do my damnedest to not buy digital games, though I gotta say I'm glad I have Scott Pilgrim and The Simpsons arcade games on my PS3 which aren't available anymore. Great video, I hope to see more of these!

The good thing is I can download the game anytime I want, just like I did for this video. There are also a plethora of ports with more content. So it's not really a big loss, you're just missing out on the higher rez textures. Automatic for LIFE!!! I'm just trying to burn rubber around some turns and smile well doing it lol
