I have been enjoying the Beastie Room build, when the floor went down i thought the ceiling was too low but the sloping roof sorts that out. Its all coming together so fast.

My beastie room is my sons room atm. 🙈 Good thing he is into the animals as well. He has a snake, a scorpion, 12 T’s, and frogs in his room, as well as feeders 😂 He loves it! My other son complaines that he doesn’t have as many animals in his room 😅

I've done exactly the same tonight, toilet floor. Leg span filled the rim of a pint glass, pretty boy. I actually asked him if he fancied going for a ride! Picked up and deposited outside with none of the panic I had prior to finding Daves channel.

I can’t believe it was only on the sixth day, I can now see how the room will look, you have the best builders do they travel to Wales? Welsh builders are amazing but they do like to chat! I’ve been looking forward to this. You must be gutted the rubber roof didn’t come. That sort of thing would get me all of a fluster. FANTASTIC! Big shout out to Tucker and John! I can't wait to see the end result. I should imagine you guys are chomping at the bit to start shelving the room out, and getting your little beasties in to their new accommodation. Will you still be using the room indoors? and if so, will you be using the indoor room for the pairing of adults, and the incubation of the slings? And also for the storage of the young stock and all the gubbins we use as keepers. I'm beginning to waffle on now but I think its cos the anticipation is really starting to get to me. Windows let out heat. Plus the light will muck up the cameras. He always has a blacklight blind over the windows in other rooms.

The lighting for the beasties needs to be controlled and will be on timers so naturally light will mess with it and confuse the beasties. Important to maintain cycles esp during breeding.

It's going to such an amazing Beastie room for sure. Do your neighbours knkw what's going in there? Also, a question unrelated to Beastie Mansion......we are now at the start of UK house monster breeding season 😟 I've just had my house secured by its annual spraying inside and outside perimeter with 8 legged monsters repellent, and have two big bottles of peppermint oil ready to wipe around the door and window frames , and skirting boards boards every day til mid October. I can't imagine you feeling it at necessary to go to such lengths, so, what do you do when you see one dash across your floor? Do you leave them be, and not mind them in your house, or do you evict them?

Fascia should really be silicone on, i wouldn't rely on a few tiny pins holding that on, hope he vents and glues the soffit too
