Frankenstein was so disgusted and horrified with himself when he created Adam (mostly because of Adam's eyes not possessing the life that living human eyes do) that he immediately repressed the memory of doing it and began wasting away in private. He later tried to apologize to Adam and tried to make him happy, before realizing that he could not do anything to justify having played god, and began a quest to kill Adam as it was the most he could do to set things right again. Maybe I'm insane, but I've had this idea i can't get out of my head where the group gets word of some cursed woods and beyond it a lake, where at the bottom there is supposedly near infinite treasure. And they have to traverse through, vines lash at them, arrows are sent flying, deadly moonlight beams down, all the while an extremely old cat follows them being friendly. They reach the river, and see 3 graves, to Corazon, Egbert, and Prudence. They dive down, despite the cat trying to meow and convince them to not, and find a mountain of treasure, and another grave. This one made for Dob, with a broken hammer, and a body that looks boneless and like it put up a fight. They come back up with their treasure, maybe the broken hammer itself. An old, extremely pissed elven woman notching several arrows in a bow is in the cats place. "Let go of my friend." If they say no? "Then we'll make you." And the group is on the run from a furious Merilwen and the ghosts of the Oxventurers rising from their graves, severely weaker than they would be due to the near death of magic, but intensely powerful. The only real option at this point is run, probably as Merilwen turns into a grey haired bear. To make it more fair, Egbert can totally get confused and accidentally heal the group, or Corazon could be so busy being a jerk while boasting it makes a distraction, or Dobs illusions accidentally trick his friends. This is probably awful but it would make a fun non canon special or semi final heist at some point, robbing the Oxventurers graves and dealing with Merilwen.

While I agree that it's disturbing it's because Luke is taking Paternity leave as well as a host of other mislaid vacation time. So it's probably going to be a bit of a wait and the when is up in the air. I don't know if they plan to tie anything to the Orbpocalypse (though the orb's magical absorbing nature fits together all too well) but that also allows Luke time to understand and coordinate without spoiling things for himself as a player.
@MorinehtarTheBlue3 жыл бұрын
@SCP - 1669 - 44 That really has nothing to do with what I'm talking about. My point was regarding the plans Johnny has for the Orb and that Luke knowing any of it spoils the game for him. Thus if Luke has a break the story can unfold and a more cohesive connection can be written once Johnny unveils the Orbs nature. I wasn't speaking about Dob potentially missing adventures whatsoever.

Johnnie/Kasimir at 4:15 - "I used to know a gardener. Pelennor, he went by - huge fields." My reaction: The same as Luke's and Ellen's. Excellent LOTR pun! X-D

One of the best parts of this episode is the live chat feud between Jane, Andy, Oxtra and the entire viewer population

When I did the funfair heist with you guys, I could not remember the character I created or their skills, and even though Mike was nice and said I could just copy Barnaby's skills I just got frustrated, so frustrated that I woke up Turns out I had fallen asleep immediately after listening to this, having stayed up to stupid o'clock listening to part one and two back to back

A "dry" djinn? Well of course he's dry, he's British!

Or because Djinn’s are usually involved in Arabic stories so a very dry place... maybe? I am willing to admit it’s a stretch.

Legend has it that the WMM survived the skirmish upon the mansion through flair and conquest of hearts, going on to travel the world of G'eth under the pseudonym Percy. Though later achieving critical acclaim, his dramatic works remained in obscurity...of the broom closet where he slept.

This was so, so good. My husband and I have enjoyed it immensely. Wonderful job GMing, Luke. Wonderful job playing, everyone else. I loved all the references to the D&D campaign. I know it will be awhile before there is more(Hope your enjoying being a new dad, Luke!), but I can't wait for the story to continue! Bring Magic Back!

Please do continue, I've been really enjoying Blades. Everyone's done such a great job with their characters and Luke you've done a wonderful job creating the story and GMing.

I really love you guys. Sounds kinda silly, but I hope you know, that for all the frivolous fun you provide, that fun is very meaningful to some of your audience. I don't mean to add any 'pressure' to your performances, cause I've had as much fun watching the well curated material, as I have the more ... organic material. :) But I hope no one makes you feel like your jobs don't matter. (including you producer and video camera guys, we don't see you as much but we appreciate it.) And while this comment is after very very many, I still wanted to put it up here, just to let someone know.

It's been a pleasure listening to you guys play this while I've been grinding in elite dangerous. I've never had much exposure to table top stuff but you're all genuinely entertaining with how much you play your characters. I'd happily listen to more if you're up to it

Hey OX Crew, can we get a Lumiar pin made? I was thinking something Edvard might do for his brand would be like, his last name in cursive being the filimant bit inside a lit lightbulb. I openly give rights to this idea to the blades gang

I imagine it would say Lumiar with an image of Edvard below it with his hands thrown to the air, cackling maniacally while below _him_ is a tableau of WMMs marching on a burning Astor headquarters.

This seriously is one of the best things I've ever seen. Thank you so much for the laughs. Now serious question, how many posters do I need to buy to get the next season? lol
@cordeliaseil3 жыл бұрын
I think it's gotta be Astor. The orbpocalyspe being responsible seems too simple, and we've already seen that the Astor family is present in the far past. When you're inventing things and you want more money, what better way than to remove everyone's magic to create a demand for mechanical supplements? Could easily be disguised as an "invention to help ghosts pass on" too.
