I feel for ya. Husband’s immune compromised from transplant. He wears a mask when he has to go to the doctor like today. I wear my N95 every minute at work. We breath easy despite people still getting sick and dying each and every day from covid. Also vaccinated, and I ventilate my work space. Good luck. Stay smart. 🤝

These people clearly have issues. Many appear to be retired or unemployed. I just saw a man that was wearing goggles and a gas mask type apparatus whilst food shopping. He probably lives a sad life wherein every step is measured to prevent exposure to covid. This was normal behavior two years ago. Now it is odd and off putting.

There are people that are simply hooked on the fear porn. A friend likened it to adrenaline junkies. I was one of those. For a period of a few years I was paid to ski and I spend every spare penny on jumping out of airplanes. The adrenaline was intoxicating and an addiction. Skiing and skydiving were my life. Now you take a person that never did anything like that, never knew true fear or a real risk to their lives and you give them Covid a "killer" that can't be sensed in any way and you've given them the most exciting thing in their lives. That is one reason Covid lives on in some people. It is the adrenaline their lives lacked.

Same. The only time I ever wore a mask was in medical settings. Dr appts, my wife in labor at hospital (only through the halls and such.) Otherwise I never ever wore one. I despise(d) that shit. Thankfully I live in Florida so it wasn’t as strict. Also, soooo glad my wife and I never got “the shot,” considering everything that’s been coming out about it.

I still mask, but I'm an ultra runner and I'm eff all out of luck in terms of airfare and Vo2 capacity if I get sick at this point in the year. Some of us have big goals which require 50 miles of running at 11,000' above sea level. Don't care who's mad at it. I also haven't caught covid at all, so...

A mask has no effect on viral transmission…the Covid virus is .125 microns and N95 masks have pore holes of .3 microns and surgical masks have pore holes ranging from 16 to 140 microns and droplets around .2 microns can be atomized and have a hang time in cloud form for 6-40 hours..you aren’t stopping anything dum dum.
