Made these for the first time, they turned out moist, decadently rich & so delicious! Used pecans as I was out of walnuts which worked well. But next time will make with walnuts. Thank you for creating a plant based perfect brownie! ❤😊

Put your food processor back on the motor when your bowl is empty. Run for a couple of seconds, this cleans the blade and you can get all the extra batter out of the bowl! Try it!

In order that your brownies don't come out too thin because you're using an 8 and 1/2 by 11 baking dish, you could take a piece of aluminum foil, fold it to make a sturdy dam in the end of your rectangular baking sheet so that the area you pour the batter into becomes a square baking dish

You can make your own oat flour. Just put some rolled oats in a food processor and whirl away! I use an electric coffee bean grinder. Last week I made sunflower seed butter using roasted sunflowers and maple syrup.

Hi Ladies, I use to do a lot of baking and also made wedding cakes. The question you asked about why do the brownies have that nice crackle layer on top? It's because of the large amount of fat from the walnuts and bakers chocolate. (You will also get that kind of crackle layer when using butter).

These are ABSOLUTELY delicious!!! I've been vegan for almost 12 years, and these taste as good, no, BETTER than the brownies I grew up with as a kid. So fluffy, rich and mouthwatering, with just the right amount of sweetness. Great job Jane on coming up with this recipe!

This recipe is very delish as is. I’ve used a 9x9 pan and brownie bites muffin pans. I suggest using less maple syrup if you’re using sweetened dark baking chips. Thank you Jane and Ann. More cooking demo please. Enjoy!

That looks delicious! Love it ladies! I may make that for my birthday in May. I love cutting dried fruit with scissors, it is so much easier than using a knife. I actually hold the fruit with a mini tong as well beacuse the fruit can get so sticky.

I have a serious problem with chocolate lol! Chocoholic here. I have to limit myself to the kind made with cocoa powder and beans, sweet potatoes and oats. I would eat that whole pan, they look soooo good!

I made your other brownie recipe that calls for 1.5 cups of maple syrup (with sweet potatoe recipe) and I find that it works brilliantly with just 3/4 cup maple syrup.......
