Hello Doctor! Thanks for the content, especially on Ovarian Cancer symptoms and treatments as it seems no one talks about this cancer and it is the most deadly cancer for women. Can you please clarify what you mean when you say that women who start taking HRT late have an increased risk of Ovarian Cancer? Does that mean over 60 or over 55 or over 70?Thanks again for sharing your expertise with us.

I have none of those just some bleeding Hopefully it just pre menopausal I just finished in March chemo and radiation for anal cancer and cervix cancer. I’m Cancer free now.

Broke my tailbone in may2022, complete pelvis was disturbed including digestive problems. During Christmas holidays pain suddenly started in uterus & bleeding. After misdiagnosed 2 times as hemorrhoids in ER a gynaecologist found the deadly disaster: 3 tumors stage 5. Source in cervical, 1 layed on bladder & 1 on rectum. Radiation outside stopped growing, after 1st shot cysplatin i broke up & changed to University radiation clinic Erlangen for brachytherapy. Prof. Strnad's special therapy saved my life. Since August'24 all tumors gone. No cancer markers & no HPV🙏

I am reading Dr Marty Makary's "Blind Spots" and describes how ovarian cancer actually begins in the fallopian tubes and spreads to the ovaries, where it becomes symptomatic. The value of the discovery is that protolithic removal of the ovaries for is not necessary. Removing the fallopian tubes only seems to be effective. There is also a chapter on HRT. Great book.

take the bloating and swelling seriously. My mom died from ovarian cancer after 4 years of fighting it. She also always thought its stress related that she had smomach issues and it was discovered too late when it spread to many organs.

Request to your gynecologist you'd like to get a vaginal ultrasound every 6 months. I get these ultrasounds because I've got a couple of benign cysts on an ovary and monitoring them. Have been for 3 years. Insurance covers with a small fee afterwards. Better to be safe!

I know I don't have it, because of the symptom of unexplained weight loss..lol...I wish I had weight loss, but not that way. I talked to girls in their 20's & 30's that have that IUD in them so they don't get pregnanat or they had the HPV shot to prevent cervical cancer... I don't think they are a good idea🤔
