Thank you for sharing your story. I decided a few years ago I am going to hike the Appalachian Trail and I just turned 59 last month. Don’t know when 🤣 I think we are in life where we are meant to be. The not knowing what we were missing when we younger helps us enjoy where we are now. If I start getting antsy and irritable, I realize that most likely I haven’t been on a hike in a while and need to get my bum out there. Not a lot of people get that lol. Have fun on your hikes.
