Visiting Remy's Deep Dish Pizza & Bar in Adelaide, South Australia to try Australia's First (and ONLY!) Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza Challenge! Brave diners have only 30 minutes to finish a 2.5kg Chicago style deep dish pizza of choice (I went with "The King of All Pizzas" loaded with pepperoni), a side of shoestring fries, and 1 liter of beer! Winners earn their meal for free, some serious street-cred, and a spot up on Remy's Wall of Fame!

I'm born and raised in Chicago and have been going to Giordano's for over 30 years. I can tell you with 100% certainty that they put double mozzarella on your pizza to try to tip the scales. A pizza with that much damn cheese is really fucking hard to eat. You did a fantastic job.

oi. fuck finishing your plate. I'm so obese that I have been able to stop eating for the past week to help me make my credit card payments. Trust me when I say that if you're full, you're full. The only exception is if you (at 5'4, maybe?) havent met 1500 calories, you should add more fat to your meals. im personally taking 3oz of olive oil to prevent muscle waste, but that's beside the point. fat is nutritionally important and eating only as much as you need as equally so.

It looks legit. I grew up in Chicago. If it’s modeled upon Giordano’s it has a crust under rye sauce & pepperoni so it’s a stuffed, not deep dish. I’ve never been able to have more than three slices of Giordano’s!

The only two times I seriously choked on food, it was on bacon. The most recent (years ago now) was really scary, cafe employee doing the Heimlich on me while I was trying to fish the offending piece out between two fingers of my other hand... Her whole chanbel is a death wish. She is a heallthy weight now, but consuming these high fat, carb and processed foods is going to take a toll on her body. It's utter madness to put her body through these challenges simply for youtube fame and very sad to see she puts herself at risk of so many health complications. If it was an occasional challenge as part of a food based channel it wouldn't be so bad, but looking at how many of these huge, fatty, salty eating challenges she does is worrying for her physical health.
