It's also because his logics at this game is always on point, you could see it when watching his streams, he usually would just uploads his funny games on YT. Sykkuno's an S-tier at the game, but he just does not want to play a game that seems boring to him, he'd quit right away, and he said it that always winning, doing the tasks, are the most boring things he'd want to avoid exactly because "there's no fun in seeing the Victory screen knowing that you all just played the game doing tasks". That's why you'd often see him giving the impostors the slipd and would clog his comms with funny punchlines.

He is one of the smartest out of anyone hes ever streamed with. I think codemiko and ludwig and toast are all smart in different ways. But he can so easily positevly or negatively influence things in a way that when he does it people think hes dumb or a troll but that later understand what he did. He always compliments others and tells them they did good and shares with them. He never compares himself and if he does it is only for their sake to feel like he isnt that much better. The way he hacks in gta. Hes not anxious. He doesnt have to constantly repeat numbers and scramble. He doesnt even stress anymore. He will let the others fail 2 times and take the last attempt which adds the stress of knowing 0 mistakes are acceptable. Have you seen valk try and get timed out before writing a single letter on the first word. Its really his outlook on life that shows his wisdom. He understands a negative perspective and getting mad when things dont go his way, is less enjoyable then expecting nothing but positively participating in everything no matter what starts to happen even if he loses the game. He has more fun losing than others do winning.

If the main reason why they vote for toast is because toast did big brain people and used his influence as impostor it means that they let their biases control their votes instead of using logic and actual informations and evidences in the game. Toast is definitely to blame there... Edison made up the story in the previous round and toast just remained silent and didn't even bother refuting it meaning brodin has no reason to believe that Edison is lying. Although toast refuting Edison then would have possibly further complicated matters for brodin if Toast wasn't convincing enough from the very beginning and generally when people are conflicted, their logic doesn't function well and their inner beliefs come into play. Toast is known to be a very good player so toast would almost always lose in that situation regardless of evidence.

As much as Toast's logic made sense, it's something he's good at coming up with as an impostor, and he was essentially caught in a lie. One would have to give Toast the benefit of the doubt for that in a 50/50, and that doesn't make much sense. Now, Edison was already super sus so it's not as if Toast was the obvious choice, at least for me.

Deathsleet already answered why Edison won, but Toast also won something in this game, he won the trust of the players in the lobbies. The "last" game was actually not the last for their stream, it was somewhere above the first few games in the stream. The game where Sykkuno said "You finally won in a 50/50 Toast!" was in the last 2 hours of their stream, ever since then, Toast finally managed to break the cursed of his 50/50s (with Sykkuno's help ofc)

This is true. It would help to actually share said evidence with the class though. In the end we know Toast luckily doesn't try all too hard. He usually knows what's going on. Just having that knowledge is fulfilling enough, and winning constantly off of similar methods can get repetitive.

Toast himself knows about this problem. He said before that people fear getting outplayed way more than voting wrong because they're stupid. That is why it's actually quite common for imposters to leave Toast for a 50/50 situation, knowing he doesn't usually tryhard and won't immediately vote them off even if he knows. Forcing the one innocent into thinking "It could be a really big brain play by Toast". It's a good strategy for imposters to use against him and we just have to accept that.

To be fair he only got sus of him due to the story. Edison mentioned Toast going left with them, but Toast didn't realize until Brodin said something. He looked to be in his own world when Edison threw him into that story and kind of just screwed himself when he said he never went to the left. (Though they could've asked Toast where he was instead of relying on someone else's word)

Toast denying Edison's story could have helped, but Brodin had no reason to trust that story over the rest of the evidence given. Really what it boiled down to is fear. When stuck in a 50/50 situation with complete uncertainty, people WILL vote Toast over the imposter, that is because they fear being outplayed way more than voting stupidly. That is why Brodin would fall back to the thinking that everything Toast says as evidence could just be him trying to pull off a really big brain play and vote him off regardless.
