Why he has been under-rated... It's so much close to be a simulation when u set all things in realistic.. With no screen corner as a cheat... I love it so much... The best on console

I still have this game and my Xbox 360, this is still the best air combat game on consoles, Ace Combat could not touch this even with their best attempt. This game pretty much bridges the gap between Ace Combat and DCS, simple enough that anyone can pick up a controller and fly yet complex enough to require Air to Air tactics to master.

You make this game look easy. I tried to get into this back in '06, even beat the campaign mode once (thanks to the F-22), but holy hell was it frustrating. It felt like winning dogfights was pure luck and I never understood what to do to improve. You look like you were using simulation tactics (i.e. maintaining visual on the last bandit) and I had no idea about that kind of stuff back then.

I had to make sure that I didn't write this reply! Yup, sounds like me. But I've figured it out. I still play everyday in 2020. I fly like he does now. The "game" actually "taught" me how to fly. Not Ace Combat. Not H.A.W.X. Took me 3 years to figure it out though! Ah, the frustration!

Cannot compare with ace combat. AC is a whole different type of flying game. Its gorgeous and fun but not sim. Over g is a remarkable sim/cade game. THEY NEED A PART 2 WTF IS WRONG WITH THESE DEVS? "oh wait we need more battle royale"

Yeah I'm from DCS world.. And I confirm over G.. Is the best on console.. I hate hawk and ace combat..that's a good deal if u find any situation for training.. Take off and landing... Combat... Free flight... Over G is just awesome. So why dev's didn't released ....the over G (2)

@@franck-hermanherald4094 i found out snes had a f14 dogfight simulator about two month ago and it was awesome and i loved the soundtrack. However, the turn radius is quite silly and the cannon is not accurate. That game didn’t age well since there’s DCS and over g fighter
