Old England? Ohh you mean the one that took over around a quarter of the world and had one of the best fighting forces, oh ya that's true. Oh what's that they, they killed over 1 million people during its colonizations & wars (both offensive and defensive), and around 29 million Indians with starvation (number are disputed, really the whole thing is debated but the truth is that the British took actions and adopted policies which led to many millions dying). I'm not saying the British Empire was bad, but it wasn't exactly good either.

@@shrekzebee4435 I was just about the Blood and Iron. Cool. It's still fun. But the bayonet is the fastest way to get kills, and your team doesn't do crap to protect from hordes of bots, but it's still fun.

There's forty shillings on the drum For those who volunteer to come, To 'list and fight the foe today Over the Hills and far away [Chorus] O'er the hills and o'er the Main Through Flanders, Portugal and Spain King George commands and we obey Over the hills and far away. When duty calls me I must go To stand and face another foe But part of me will always stray Over the hills and far away [Chorus] If I should fall to rise no more As many comrades did before Then ask the pipes and drums to play Over the hills and far away [Chorus] Then fall in lads behind the drum With colours blazing like the sun Along the road to come what may Over the hills and far away

I first heard this tune in the the Beggar's opera: "Were I cast on India's shore......". It wasn't until much later that I learned of its darker prrovenance. Jaunty music covering up slaughter.

Here's forty shillings on the drum For those who'll volunteer to come To 'list and fight the foe today. Over the hills and far away. O'er the hills and o'er the main. But part of me will always stray Over the hills and far away. O'er the hills and o'er the main. Through Flanders, Portugal and Spain. King George commands and we obey. Over the hills and far away. If I should fall to rise no more, As many comrades did before, Then ask the fifes and drums to play. Over the hills and far away. O'er the hills and o'er the main.
