not many groups or people can cover Gary Moore and capture what made this song so great, the mix of joy at being able to sing a song and the kind of anger and bitterness as he related the story. Nightwish did it well, you do it great! Thanks for the tunes!

Thank you so much! Yeah, the emotion conveyed in the song is interesting. It combines a sad story with triumphant hope. But the music itself helps the audience as well as the singer feel it too, so that made it easier for me haha

Forlorn hope, there's an Argentine song called Luna Cautiva that's similar. The song writer basically had to kill someone in a bar fight to stop a rape and he was sentenced to about ten years for manslaughter. the songs his perspective of events and just this soul crushing "I miss my wife" line that kills it filled with "i will come back to you" funny how certain themes and experiences are universal to humanity eh? You did a sweet job at conveying that! The mix of hope and just bitterness and to echo others the production team was top notch! if you're curious look up Out in the fields by Moore, its similar in tone and is an almost hair metal style attack on religious based terrorism haha.
