Hi Egg, First of all I want to say that I have loved your videos for a long time and still love them of course. Only I have one small point of criticism haha, lately I see that you are using the Airport Aprints in Rannoch a lot. However, from my own perspective (as an urban design student in the Netherlands), I find this a bit unrealistic and does not fit with the creation and design of cities in the future. Large paved squares in public spaces can cause many problems in various areas. This includes heat stress, flooding, ecology and provides little green quality in the outdoor area. While this greenery can actually contribute to a healthier city, life and a more climate-adaptive city. It could of course be that this is your current way of creating belongs to the style of Rannoch, but I still thought it would be nice to give an opinion from my point of view :). So it might be nice to design open spaces within your squares with different plants and bushes. Greetings from the Netherlands!

As someone who farmed near cottonwood, you absolutely never want cottonwood in city limits. I mean unless you want to spend tons on cleanup cause you'll literally have a meter thick pile of fluff with that many trees 😂

Hey Egg, long time no view. Actually not that long as I've recently watched and re-watched some of your older VODs before stumbling onto this one. Glad to see you're still pumping out CS1 content as I've just started playing CS1 again after a year hiatus . I play heavily modded (~100 mods, 6900 assets - so far) but like seeing other builds and sometimes being inspired. Always enjoyable kicking back with a coffee or beverage and watching an OE vid. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to more :)

8:54 the city of Utrecht has the A2 highway tunneled underground. Above it is a very new part of the city with a shopping mall above it and a park. exit lanes and go through lanes apart from each other.

You should turn that giant Interchange into a stack interchange so then there would be a huge highway exit strait into the Down Town

Sorry to suggest this right after the baseball stadium build but maybe switch that to football or something else? The baseball stadium would be awesome next to the river. Since home run balls are part of the game, San Francisco for instance has their stadium right next to the river where kayakers can grab home run balls

After the highway uou should keep the pedestrian road elevated as the “old” highway that existed before the city was regentrified into its current version

It's too bad about that pathway in between the stations :( the way they open up towards what will be towers and high density will make that plaza feel very cool later on Keep teasing the skyline, the more lights leading up to it in night shots will make the cinematic sweeter!

You get one with different levels of metro in the base-game and you get those kinds of hubs in Sunset Harbor, Mass Transit, Train Stations CCP, some require Snowfall too…

Hi, what theme/mods do you use to make the ruined texture(discoloring on the ground next to buildings roads and props) disappear/become barely noticeable? In the base game it’s huge, and bright yellow :/

The ruined texture is dictated by the theme, it is a lot harsher on the tropical theme. This being Boreal
