Rannoch is really starting to shape now. It's looking great. Can't wait to see how this city continues to grow and expand. I'd really like to see a downtown that's something special and unique.

The palaven pines were meant to be there! Sit and fit for sure. This office park really shaped up nicely and rannoch has been fun to follow along with. I recently got the CS itch again and no better place for inspo than OE CS vanilla.

We had some really good additions to the game in t he last year or so. P&P, the stadiums, hotels etc. What caught my eye today was just how much value we got from a lot of the DLC. The transit options are staggering in this game. I love how you integrate the airport apron to build larger complexes, it fills in the space so nicely compared to before.

Loving this city. I started my own Boreal city, Delphi, on Oracle Lake around the same time as Rannoch began. It has been such a source of inspiration, and I look forward to every Monday for it! Awesome job once again

Rannoch is looking great! Really like the higher density town on the right bank of the smaller river. I think the town feels busier than Orchid Bay because it is significantly more dense

I love how quirky wall to wall building are, they give a whole new vibe to the office park, lovely build! I would also love to see how you would utilize the policies in game. I usualy completely ignore them, but I think some builds can maybe benefit them, or they can inspire some new areas. Keep up the amazing work!

Rannoch is turning into a true OE city. I think it could be another Orchid Bay! Each series you grow into your own a bit more and very few players do vanilla. That's the good thing with you🤩 You're not afraid of vanilla 🙃

How about a downtown inspired by Portland, Oregon? The map would be excellent for it. Also how about a series of Express bus routes that act as ”Hub hopper” services that connect two transport hubs with no stops in between. They could use double decker buses like the GO Transit buses in Toronto.

I think Rannoch is a more packed city compared to orchid bay (sleepy town)so far. Why have you not added the 81 tile mod yet? vanilla progression milestones feel like they are in the way of development.

We will pop it eventually. I play as far into the vanilla milestones as I can so console players can still follow. In my modded series I'll pop it straight away but as this is a vanilla + series, I try to keep mostly to the vanilla side of things

An exclusive country club build would be nice in this city one day
@mr.creeper34403 ай бұрын
hey egg you should creat two parts of the downtown. One part can be other side of the river. I think it would look reallly cool with a all types of transport bridge kind like the one thessia but including trolley bus as well as monorail, tram, busses, train and metro. also a seperate cycling or penestrian only bridge
@simonsv94493 ай бұрын
Now we need something inspired by the Tilikum Crossing in Portland, and the Steel Bridge.

You know recently I attempted to get into to CS2 again and was reminded of things I don't super like. In CS1 we have edge fog, but it doesn't exist in CS2 so instead we get unobstructed views at the seemingly lower rez, ugly, undetailed outlying areas. The hope was that we'd see an 81 tiles style mod for CS2 but that doesn't seem likely due to game mechanics. Anyway just something that's bugged me recently and one of the reasons I still prefer CS1 to CS2. Bigger Maps (with 81 Tiles) and more lively Environments not to mention the sheer amount of assets and mechanics.

Hi Egg, I have a question regarding the rich detailed zoom you are able to get. Is it purely high end Graphics Card or certain game settings as well?

How do I move around with the mouse I am finding it very difficult getting into this game because it seems that we can only move around with the keyboard (i.e. WSAD). Is it possible to configure the game so that I can use my mouse to Pan using my mouse? If not then why not? I really want to play but I find it too clunky to use.
