Cuz he didn't overclock. He just pressed a button that assumed all the values for components, of which there are close to couple dozen to be able to overclock successfuly

Overclocking is perfectly safe if you know what you're doing. I use Asus Motherboards and have Zero issues with overclocking.

Only thing overclocking is good for on am4/am5 is to adjust your fan curvature people really be overclocking just to play a game with a capped render distance but the only viable reason to O/C a gaming build is to save power when you got both hands around your CPUs neck

You can improve frame time and reduce spikes, Can also reduce bottlenecks if you have an older cpu and a recent gpu. If you understand your platform, overclocking can absolutely be worth it.

If his motherboard doesn’t have the grunt to handle aggressive overclocks, it’ll result in instability despite having “auto overclock” as a feature.

This exact thing happened to my pc when I first built it, I messed with a few bios settings to try to overclock it a little (I didn’t know much at the time) and it would crash games literally 2 minutes after starting. I ended up shocking the motherboard with a screwdriver to kinda reset it. And thankfully it worked.

Funny thing is I had this experienced with two different brand of Ram in Max of 64GB (T.M.P mode on!) which I didn’t know it might cause the game crashed since the ram was overlocked or two brands of not compatible RAM causes of this

Your eye can only really tell the difference of FPS up to 90ish, so you don’t really need to overclock if it’s hitting 90

Because it's b.s the manual tells you how to clear CMOS so I think it is the shops PC deliberately clocked so high and voltage so high it was never going to be stable and most new mobos have a clr CMOS button but we are expected to believe that a guy is confident to play with a overclock but can't work out how to undo the overclock 😂😂 ok then I believe that NOT!!

This is not diagnosing. The customer has a 360mm aio installed. If everything is fine there should not be a problem with any oc. That cooler should be able to handle 250w of heatload without issues. So unless its a 13900k of 7950x there should not be a problem , so if this is happening it could be improper cooler installation , failed aio pump , incorrect fan & pump header selection. In such situation prime 95 & hw info is way more useful than playing a game..games don't use the cpu more than 30-40% if the system is stable in prime 95 & aida64 then it will remain stable in everything you throw at it. The minimum stability test is running cinebench for atleast 30mins on a air cooled system and for 1-2hour on a liquid cooled system.

this is the literal definition of diagnosing. he replicated the issue. found the cause of the issue and it is no longer an issue. the customer wanted his game to stop crashing and thats what he did for him. the customer didnt ask for him to find out why his overclock isnt working

Anyone who does cpu/ram overclocking knows the game doesn't just crash, the whole pc crashes. You might in rare cases be just on the edge and some applications might crash, but you will inevitably get a blue screen or just a straight black screen. Zero chance this video is real.
