I have been in the same situation since my graduation last year (June 2018). After lots of stresses and hassles of sending resumes around, I just accepted and started working my dream job this month, yet I still feel lonely and a bit depressed!! A lot of my school friends either went away, married, or don't like to connect back for any reason, and making new friends or finding and dating someone you love is really hard at this time. Thanks for the great video brother! I am glad to know that I am not the only person here.

Thank you for sharing your story Nima! Definitely, you're not alone, we all go by the same struggles when we graduate. You'll see everything gets better with time ;) I am happy you found a job you like this month, focus on it and focus on being good at it. Everything else will follow! Let me know if I can help on anything Nima!

I hope you all are doing well now! I know the original comment was from 2 years ago and another comment from 5 months ago. But how are you guys getting on now? I’m in the exact same boat, except I graduated my undergraduate in 2020... so I never really got the closure from university as we missed out on the last few months due to lockdown, never really got that proper goodbye as suddenly everything came to a stand still. Since then, I have been unemployed and decided to do a masters from home online - well I had to as we were in lockdown for the first 5 months of 2021, so going to campus wasn’t an option (bad choice as I ended up failing pretty much, I am now retaking the exams but i’m thinking what’s the point). Still struggling to find a job within my career field, but i’ve found a general administration job for minimum wage which I only got through a government scheme (i’m lucky thats even in place to help us younger people out) but yeah... I just miss university, I miss the friends, the freedom, the student money, I just miss happiness to be honest. Feel like with these jobs of jobs it feels like you are almost enslaved and everything in your life revolves around the job. Rather with university, everything was so flexible. Honestly, I would pay a million pounds If I could to just experience my whole university experience again. Also I agree with the comment about the love life, it’s impossible. When, how, where does one have the time. There’s barely time to sleep if anything 😭. Honestly i’m grateful we are in a part of the world where it’s possible to work and we have homes and food on our plate. But it’s still tough man.

I just went through this. Finished my last class in august. I actually enlisted into the Air Force reserves. Volunteered for some community service, and I myself went through post graduate depression. I think for a month I did a lot of self reflecting because I had so much free time. I feel way better now and I’m giving myself a year off before going to grad school with a new profound perspective.

Here I am post graduate school which I went to right after undergrad and I’m mega lost, during a pandemic, unemployed but this helped. Thank you.

Thank you for this video. I graduated yesterday, the process was so stressful that I have the feeling my battery is completely empty. And I was scared of the upcoming weeks being even worse. Now I have some ideas.
