Something that is not talked often enough about as it is surrounded in secrecy and shame. Yes, I struggled with a restrictive ED, but I also struggled with binge eating following that which was another really low point in my recovery journey.
In this video I explain my struggles and how I overcame them.
You need to give yourself time most of all, as well as room to make mistakes!! It's not all or nothing, it's a little more progress each day.
I really how you feel you can open up more, as this was a big turning point for me, and accepting that it is a disorder, not a lack of willpower or being 'greedy'. There IS an end, and I hope some of these tips help if you are struggling right now!!
