Great video Matt. I worked at a dealership when I was 18 for 6 months and I know I didn’t push myself hard enough when I was there. Now I am also in equipment finance at 20 years old and starting from the bottom again. With out bound prospecting and cold calling. And this video has helped a lot. Also could you make some more videos on when you were in equipment financing?

This is hard man. Not only am I nervous but every time I get a negative response it just makes my next call worse lol. What is your protocol for follow ups? I started a demolition business last year. My work has kind of leveled off and I feel cold calling is the best low cost way to get new work. If I call someone and can’t get through to the correct person, maybe I just leave my contact info the first time. When should I call back and try again? Or should I just write that call off as a bust? I wrote myself a script but I’m not getting very good responses

How many call have you made? How many conversations have you had? Cold calling is NOT fun…I hate to do it, but have to do it for my job. My protocol for follow-ups depends on how the conversation went. If they hung up or me or it was a short call, I’ll call them back in 60-90 days.
